• Sunday we went out riding as per norm but this time around, I took some good pics. We were around the area of Clifton, I guess you could say south west part of TX. The neat thing about the areas we ride to is that it's alot of country side and you get the chance to see more pretty wild flowers. Beneath the cut are just a sample of some of the pics I took. There's even pretty horses with babies!

A HUGE ass field of bluebonnets. Seriously, this is only the left side of the field. I took pics in front and to the right as to show the expanse of the field but I felt that one pic here is enough to describe what I saw. I don't know if someone actually planted them or they all just grew there. But talk about beautiful.

Out in the country. I'm amazed that alot of these pics turned out pretty decent since I took these while we were moving on the bike with the exception of the pic above. We pulled over so I could take pics. Something I noticed too with the bluebonnets is that those wild yellow flowers seem to go along with the BB's. I had yet to find a spot that didn't have those yellow flowers near by. Makes such a pretty scene. The other thing I like about the back country spots is you see alot of old buildings deteriorating and it goes so well with that classic backdrop.

This pic came out great considering we just made a left turn and I was snapping pics as fast I could, hoping that the horses turned out. This was probably the better one. *look! baby horsey*

And this one here I wish I could've gotten closer cause the black mother with her black baby were so adorable.

  • I was sooooooooooooooooo lucky Sunday evening on the way back home. We decided to stop at Home Depot to get some new light switches and before we got back on the bike, I decided to put my mp3 player and headphones in the bag and chose to hold the bag instead of putting it in the saddlebags. So I place the bag between my legs cause I knew it would stay put. When we got back into Royse City and stopped to fuel up the bike, when I got off the bike, I noticed.......NO BAG!! It wasn't on the ground by the bike nor was it sitting on top of the saddlebags. I had to break the bad news to bubba and told him that not only did I lose the bag, but my MP3 PLAYER & HEADPHONES WERE IN IT!!!!!!! He asked me if I knew roughly when the last time I checked to see if it was where I put it and I gave him a guesstimate. So we stayed on the service road and kept an eye out on the highway to see if we didn't see a bag on the side of the road or in the grass. We went so far till we saw a familiar bag on the side and hoped like hell that not only was it our bag, but everything was still intact. We had to cross the overpass to get to the other side of the highway where bubba parked the bike on the side of the service road and made his way to the grassy median where it was laying. The light switches were still in their boxes but out of the bag and when he walked towards the bag to check it out, my headphones were kinda tangled in the bag and still connected to my mp3 player. Nothing was broke. I swear to god I was sweating bullets.

  • Monday night when I got home from work, I was taken by surprise as I walked to the mailbox. I saw a critter walking in the yard heading towards the main road. Since I didn't have much light in that spot, I thought it was a possum. It wasn't till it started to waddle away some more, I realized what it was. A fucking ARMADILLO!!!! I think it knew I was standing there and waddled a little faster so it could get where it was going. I thought I heard a car coming but thank goodness there wasn't since it did cross the road. Bubba asked me why I didn't try and pick it up. I may be crazy but I ain't got a damn death wish. Was unusual to see one walking around like that.
