When I came into work tonight, I forgot they had their employee/customer appreciation thing where they treat us to whatever food they want to have. Most of the times its pizza which I don't mind but I HATE THIN CRUST!!!! To top that, they get it from Pizza Inn. The only Pizza Inn that I ate at and liked their pizza was the one at Camp Doha in Kuwait.
And to show how much they appreciate the hard work we do *snickers*, they gave us a $15 AMC Theatre gift card. Which came in very handy since I do want to see the Jackass movie when it comes out. I told hubby we need to catch the matinee in order not to blow the $15 just on tixs alone.
I've worked here going on 3yrs (2 and a half by the company since I first started out as a temp) and I must say that this has been the most lax job I ever had. Pays good, working 3rd shift I work alone, and I get a bonus AND raise every Jan. Hubby said that if that keeps up, I'll be making more than him in the next yr or two (that is if Greyhound quits acting so tight when it comes to giving their employees raises).
I ate too much pizza, salad, and pepsi, I'm about to puke *ugh*
Someone brought in a cake for Boss's Day and when I went to cut a piece, the whole bottom of it was wet O__O. I don't know how it got wet when the rest of the upper part of the cake was dry but it grossed me out.
YAY! Anna is coming to visit me sometime late Fri night cause she graduates from her massage school this week and is heading back to NY. So she's going to stop by my work for a bit for a quick one ^_~ (don't think that way perv!) She's driving the whole way too from Las Vegas to NY by herself!!!! What a brave girl!
Before I end this for the morning since its soon time to get off work, I leave you with this inspirational thought by Jack Handy ^_~::
It's easy to sit there and say you'd like to have more money. And I guess that's what I like about it. It's easy. Just sitting there, rocking back and forth, wanting that money.
