Premier on Toonami

Since there is nothing else to do around the house today, I was flipping around the channels for a bit and saw that they were debuting a new anime on Toonami.

Cyborg 009

I already seen pics of the characters on Bambi Takada's site (the japanese artist for Heero and Relena and her Since doujinshi series) which is where those pics above came from. I've been wondering what it was and now I know. The characters are so creepy looking and so far its a really odd storyline, for the most part, all of the characters are special Cyborgs. The only cute character is probably 009 but I don't like his dub voice. Some but not all of the voices sound like a few came from Outlaw Star. Not sure if Toonami is going to keep this series running or if it was just something special for today. Probably the only time I will see it since I have a tendency to not watch Toonami during the rest of the week.

It's been running all week. It seems to be made by the same people who made Kikaider. I'm not sure what I think of either one of them.

Ahhh... that makes more sense now since it did seem like it just picked up from where ever the last eps ended. The little robot dude made it sound like today was the premier of it.

I haven't seen Kikaider but I do believe I seen a pic or two, I heard it was a really short series.

Kikaider's not really that short its longer than 'The 8th MS Team'. Its pretty good I think but like almost all animes its best to catch it from the beginning.

I don't really care that much for the Cyborg 009 show it just seems like a kiddy version of Kikaider.
