It all started sometime mid Sat afternoon when I noticed the internet wasn't working right at home. I did the reg. steps by shutting the modem down for a bit and turning it back on but it didn't seem to help matters. Had hubby call Sprint Sun morning to see what was up and he said there was a recording saying that they were working on something that was down on their end. I believe he tried it out again later Sun night and still couldn't get anything working so he shut the modem down and the other little box.
Yes I will admit that I nearly died not being able to get online but I survived.
Come Mon morning, he called Sprint again and told them of our problem. They said that everything was fine on their end now so it was something with our system which the dreaded word we didn't want to hear was we might have picked up a virus (don't know how since I never open anything that looks suspicious). Course if we did, our computers never notifed us if we had it on mine or his. Good thing that I did alot of burning anime onto disc Sunday so that helped me out alot when I had to burn everything on disc that I had on my compy and the laptop since bubba was going to reformat all three computers today O_______________O
Bubba got his up and running and said the internet is fine now so there had to be a bug somewhere in the network. Now he has to finish the laptop and mine hopefully tomorrow. If you see this![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
wardove, you most likely won't see me online till probably the end of the week.
Also cause of having so much free time on the weekend, I finally sat down and watched Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and laughed my ass off!!! The Flaming One, could he be anymore gay?? Yet those are the kind that make me laugh. I was beginning to wonder if the muscle bound, blondie they were helping wasn't leaning towards the gay side too for the way he would act. But then again I think he was just being a regular tardo. And the other dude they were helping out, the loser with with the lame lifestyle was well, a loser no matter how hard they tried to help the guy out. Good show if you want to sit back for shits and giggles.
And on another note, I really don't follow football but I just had to say this (and yes some of this may be a bit late from the first season game)::
Redskins won
Steelers won
Cowboys lost *throws a private party as to not piss off bubba :p *
But I'd still rather be watching ice hockey.
