YAY! Shippou made his appearance on the Inu Yasha eps Sat night. I taped it and got time to watch it this afternoon. He's just too cute and is quite a riot when he gets on Inu's nerves. His dub voice isn't too bad, I think it will improve in time as the anime goes on. I also got a laugh out of the arguements Inu and Kagome have, especially when the Thunder Bros face Inu w/ Kagome and in order for her to save her skin and attract Inu was to say that they were lovers. The surprised look on Inu's face was priceless! I finally got to hear the japanese version tonight since I got War Dove's package in the mail w/ more anime cds. One which was the Inu Yasha movie. It didn't take long for me to get use to their voices and then it made me think of the dub. I'm not sure who else they could've used for Inu's voice but everytime I hear him speak, all I can pic is Bit Cloud from Zoids Zero. I always liked Richard Cox's voice cause it suited Bit and I just think that it will take a bit of time for me to get use to the dub voices for Inu. I can't wait to hear Kirby do Miroku the perverted Monk ^__^. I swear to god, if Inu has a REALLY stupid ending (whenever the entire thing is complete), such as say, the well that Kagome goes through once their mission is complete decides to disappear or what have you and she is in her own world WITHOUT Inu Yasha, I will go postal! Just as much as the ending of the Esca series pissed me off too. RRRRRAHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Hitomi: I love you Van
Van: I love you Hitomi *embrace* but I love you too much that I'm sending you back to your own world.
YEAH!! WHATEVER!!! Stupid writers! No wonder Jen threw a pillow at the tv when we watched the ending together. And what was worse was the ending to the Esca Movie. That really took the cake compared to the ending of the series. Just *POOF* Hitomi is gone once Van looks her direction.
I was going to see if I didn't have time to at least watch an eps or two of Hellsing that Dove also sent me. I look forward to watching that.
Had to do a bit of research to see what this anime is about and I must say....*drools*

Which Kaikan Phrase band member are you?

I'm hoping War Dove can download what she can of the series. The anime itself looks good but the manga version of the way they are drawn reminds me of either #1. Legend of Basara or Ayashi no Ceres (but only in some artbook forms) I was kinda skeptical about how the storyline was going to be with Kaikan but after reading 1st what the manga is about all I can say is that I need to get my hands on it (and actually found a site to buy them) regardless if its in japanese, I just wanna see the pretty pics of Sakuya and Aine make out and the problems they face in order to stay together.(his girlfriend by the way)*ecchi grin* Which that totally bogged my mind how they could make the anime so focused on the band compared to how the manga really didn't even cover much ground with it, just seems like everything was future tense and is more focused on Sakuya and Aine. But I have no complaints on either way. It still looks good to me as well as the hot guys in it (except for Towa..icky!)
Speaking of watching anime, I finally got around to watching Holly's Utena movie that I borrowed from her. O__O That is one fucked up anime! Its almost like a Pink Floyd's version of The Wall (just with the messed up scenes thats about it). I'll pick The Wall over Utena anyday! I don't like it, I don't like the way the characters are drawn, the plot is messed up (from reading about the series too), and I really don't care to see two chicks kissing. I was cringing each time a certain scene came into play and then had tears in my eyes when Togua spoke to Utena about the drowning scene. But at least I can say that I saw part of the anime since I would hear ppl talk about it and see a few ppl cosplay as the characters.
I now see why I don't like to work out very much. I decided to blow the dust off our BowFlex again yesterday and work on my arms. No matter how I stretch my arms to relieve this soreness, it just doesn't seem as if I'm hitting the spot. I hate being sore!!!
I'll think I'll work on watching Hellsing now in order to ease my brain from what I watched this afternoon.

Yup yup!! Actually War Dove told me about it a few months ago and then told me to check out a few amvids that was done to it as well as a few sites she found that had some pretty pics of it. I think it looks like a great anime and I think its going to be awsome to see the funny chance meetings between the main guy and girl (forget their names) and plus that little owl that is with the girl is soooooooooooo cute!!!! Is the manga you have translated or no? And how is the manga so far? Sounds great on getting the series in your grasp, keep me updated on how it is, it would be nice if it would come out on dvd within the next 2 yrs.

Cool!! I discovered it quite by accident; I was trying to find a website that had scans from Chicago (it's running in Animerica Extra right now), and kept getting search results on this other manga by Tamura Yumi, called Basara. So finally, I gave into temptation and checked it out... ^^

The main characters are Shuri and Sarasa, and I know what you mean! They go on for quite some time without even realizing who the other is...That's what attracted me to the manga, I think. It's not often that you see an anime/manga heroine who is that bold...most of them are willing to hide behind the nearest bishounen and let them do the dirty work. :P
I've completely spaced out the name of Sarasa's owl, but you're right! He's so adorable! ^^

The manga is untranslated, but I know of a site that has the manga translations. It's kind of difficult, trying to go through page-by-page with translation printouts sitting in front of me, but I'm determined to read it, one way or another. And the manga is gorgeous! I can't wait to get a chance to get the rest of it; I guess there are 27 volumes in all. >.<
I will keep you posted, when and if I get the anime! ^_^
