While bubba was getting dinner started, he turned the heater on the spa so that way it could be warm enough by the time we were done eating. Man oh man! Was that fun!! It felt too hot for me since I'm not the kind that likes overly hot showers nor bathes so it took a bit for me to get use to the temp. It wasn't overly cold outside but once you sit in that hot tub for a bit, you kinda long for to feel that cold water which I would hang over the opening and lean towards the pool. The jets felt good when I would put my feet up to them and let it massage them. Couldn't really sit too long in it besides it making me sleepy but cause of the chlorine in it, my fingertips are already shrivled.

Now my body feels really relaxed except its bad enough I'm trying to battle dry hands to begin with. So to those that think they might be coming down here next yr and are visiting me, the pool and the spa will be here for ya so be prepared!!!

My Shannon hot tub pic says it all

^___^

Love and hugs to all

I think too that they would be worth investing in. I never really sat in one till that night we tried it out. I'm sure that we'll enjoy plenty all of it. The only thing right now is trying to keep the pool clean of leaves -__- and covers are too expensive.

ah yes, tiz the season for leaves.... will it stay warm enough down there for you to leave the water in the pool for the winter? if we had a pool we would have to have it indoors and heated to keep the water in it through the winter ( we don't have a pool yet ... an other toy we plan to get someday)

Yeah it stays plenty warm down here in TX to keep the water in it. Even when it does get cold down here, its not like super cold like it would be in the north where they have to drain their's and cover their pool. Now hubby said you can cover your pool down here if you want but its not nessesary to do so.

That would be kinda neat to have an indoor pool though.

The last time I was in a hot tub was right before an Art History class with my two best friends. We had decided to not go to class even though we knew it'd screw us in the end because I didn't see the slide show but we didn't care! We were hot tubbing!

It was rather nice...then after repeatedly discussing art history we decided ah hell, the teacher was handsome, the art was gorgeous, and we had time. So off to the showers then school we went! And prompltly fell asleep. All three of us. No big surprise for Amy since she fell asleep every class time, and Kelly would nod off here and there, but I was always awake and then this day came. Thank God I didn't make any noises in my sleep. :p

The unfortunate thing about that particular lecture though, was that when we tried to listen to it on my mini-tape recorder we all wanted to fall asleep again and it was three days later!!!

So yeah, I haven't been in a hot tub since. Though it was a nice time. ^___^ Hope your starting to like the new place Beck.

*hugs*

WOW! Who knew that the power of the hot tub was so strong ^_~

The unfortunate thing about that particular lecture though, was that when we tried to listen to it on my mini-tape recorder we all wanted to fall asleep again and it was three days later!!!

I'm still laughing over that. Thank god you had the recorder and not taking notes cause I'm sure that you'd have a hard time reading what you THOUGHT you wrote or what you THOUGHT were words.

Yeah, I'm starting to warm up to the house. I guess its not so bad once you start living in it compared to when we first looked at it.
