God damn, I never thought I could be such a klutz!!!! I see that its really showing the clumsiness in me that I had inherited from mom and her mother.
Lets just say, that what I'm about to write, isn't very pretty.
I went out to my car after I woke up today to get my cell phone out. Before that, I was thinking about putting my socks on since my feet were chilly but thought "nah, I can deal with it." So I put on my flip flops, went to the car, and on the way back to the front door, I started to slide cause of it being wet outside and flipflops are THE worse shoes to wear and to walk on smooth cement. I should've just let myself fall instead of trying to regain my balance. In the process, I stubbed my left big toe. Little did I know just how bad it was.
After I got in the house, I went to my compy room to turn on the light and check out my toe. Needless to say I fucking freaked!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The side of my toenail is a bit torn along with a nice BIG chunk of skin on the top of the toe (even though the skin is still attached). I ran some water over my toe in the sink and put peroxide on it and boy was that bitch throbbing, and still is. I can barely walk right on it so I'm kinda hobbling around. When I first saw it, I thought I'd have done some major damage to my toe, thinking I cut something important off. The bad thing too was I had no idea where hubby was and he wasn't answering his cell phone (I found out later where he was). I was scared at first till I saw I wasn't bleeding to death.
I still can't believe that something so little had done so much damage! All I did was stub my toe damn it! I've done it many times and never had it cut open.
I should've listened to myself and wore socks, that way I would've had to have worn my reg. slip on shoes that DON'T slide when its wet out.
This sucks so bad cause now its going to put a damper on working out next week till it heals. FUCK!!!!!!!!
I also wish this damn Naruto 66-67 hurries up and finishes downloading before I go to work so I can take it with me.
Edit YAY! Naruto manga chapter 200 came out and is already downloaded *bounces in chair*

Re: YIKES!
It is pretty painful, I wish we had crutches handy just so I don't have to put pressure on my foot just to walk. Plus I think hubby put my band-aid on too tight and it started to make it throb more and REALLY hurt while sitting here at work. I had to take it off and just have my foot bare for the time being. Downed some pills to make the throb ease for the moment. I tell ya, driving a stick shift isn't the greatest feeling right now.
Well, I wish I could say I watched the new eps of Naruto but since the file was so huge, it was halfway done when I left for work. I won't get a chance to watch it till Sunday but I can't wait!
Thats good to see that you don't have far to catch up with the manga. The new chapter is awesome yet of course, leaves you hanging on the edge of your seat.
*hugs back* Thanx chickie!
