gun_grave when I catch up on things.
*wibbles* Okay, so I'll admit that I'll have tears in my eyes when I watch certain animes, it all depends on how moving it is, whether sad or happy. I'm sure that I'll be called a wuss or a baby if bubba sees this. Well this eps, surely isn't happy at all. In fact, just the whole eps. exuded sadness, it gives you that vibe that something is going to happen (even though I already knew was was going to happen). I'm going to put my thoughts behind the cut tag since it will contain spoilers and two screenshots I took from the end, that was quite brave of me. *dabs at eyes* So those on my friends list that I've sent copies of this to, if you don't want to know, don't look.
Well Harry has just earned his cold hearted bastard, asshole award. *sighs* Its just sad to see that it took Brandon this long to see or piece together just what Harry was doing all long. I'm sure that perhaps he was still a bit clueless as to what Harry was really doing since Harry no doubt fed Brandon some bullshit. This eps was so depressing, between the Brandon and Maria moments, to the way Brandon was starting to feel towards Harry (disgust and shock). Its like Brandon was walking on eggshells while around Harry, as if afraid if he should turn his back on him or not (no pun intended). Also the side glances that Brandon would give Harry you could tell that alot is going through his mind, questioning Harry's loyalty to the Syndicate. It hurt Brandon the most when Harry forgot about their dead friends from eps. 3. when Brandon mentioned about going to the cemetery. Brandon was totally wearing his heart on his sleeve in this eps, just everytime they showed him, you could clearly see how he felt since he barely speaks his mind. *coughMariacoughgrrrr*
Plus you could tell that they were giving hints in this eps that something was going to happen::
Not sure if I'll count this as one but oh hell::
#1. Maria telling Brandon about the baby.
#2. Brandon wanting to visit their dead friends graves. When Harry made the remark about wanting to buy the graveyard, Brandon stopped him from whatever promise Harry had made in the past. My thoughts were that Brandon didn't want it touched, it was something still "pure" from their past that wasn't touched by the Syndicate or the money that came from the greed. Plus perhaps Brandon didn't want their friends grave to have anything to do with Harry since he knows something is up with him.
#3. Them looking at the orphanage that they grew up in and thinking back on their childhood along with whatever symbolism that the free flying sheet meant to them, except that the sheet got caught in the tree, perhaps forever being trapped, no freedom at all?
I know these may sound dumb but thats just my highly over thinking brain going at it, picking apart everything I watch.
The end was so heart wrenching! You could tell Brandon was contemplating what he should do about Harry and then when he tried to make his choice, the 'sobbing' just tore at me. FUCK Harry being your friend since like forever! I would've pulled the fucking trigger!!!! But then again, if that were to happen, you wouldn't have a storyline and who knew where the anime would've ended at. In fact, the part when they were getting on the elevator, I already started to have tears in my eyes cause I knew that THE SCENE was coming up. What also gets me is that Brandon was only good enough to Harry to be his dirty work man, doing all the killing for Harry and it seemed that once Brandon made it as far as he did recently, he may have his own group called True Grave but he didn't seem to do much dirty work as in the past. I think thats why Brandon was getting soft around the edges and letting his guard down near the end.
Since I braved myself to do it, here are the two ending caps I made.
Death
Fall. Brandon falling from 25 stories high O___________O I'm just amazed that his body is still intact if he impacted the ground afterwards. I doubt if we will ever see what became of his body right after the fall, bastards!!!!! I still think that he lost his eye, where Harry aimed the gun into his socket. Granted no brain matter was splattered but after watching eps. 1, Grave's face where he was shot at, is covered by his hair. Then when he's wearing the glasses at the end, the eye where he was shot at is covered with a patch like cover on the glass piece. I don't know what he looks like in the raw eps.15 if they show all of his face but I'm going by what they shown in #1.
They always skip out on the good parts, since I'm sure they'll go straight to Brandon's funeral service. Plus I'd still like to know what happened after #6 when Brandon got shot in the gut while at the party that Big Daddy was having, when protecting Big Daddy in the process.
I can't wait for #15 though, I wanna see a hot looking, shirtless Brandon....or Grave, whatever name he is going by at the moment. Scars or no scars, me wanna see!!!
I didn't get squat done tonight at work like I wanted to such as writing more. With my fucked up toe and being somewhat busy with work, its a bit hard to hobble around from printer to printer and make it back to my seat before I have to get up again. So what little free time I had, I uploaded some Gungrave screencaps that I made. Mostly of the transformations that Brandon went through in looks (nothing bad mind you). I feel attached to this series, I really don't know what made me so into it. I wish I had webmaking skills cause I wouldn't mind making a simple site for this regardless if it was just summaries, screencaps, stuff about the game, and what little fandom stuff that might be produced in the future. Yes, I do still plan on jotting my ideas down for TWO Brandon and Maria lemon fics. One in the past when they were younger (first timers) and the 2nd would take place after eps. 13 (no matter how much I want to kick Brandon in the head!) I think cause as far as I know, it has very little fanbase or attentions from peeps out there (which truthfully can be a GOOD thing) Right now, I can only think of 3 ppl who are watching it, myself, Tora (who got me into it the first place ^_________^) and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)

Burnable discs don't grow on trees, neither does my patience or time to burn this stuff to disc. I say, if you are a fan of Trigun, you might like it. I will say this, its nothing silly about this anime like how Trigun is, its pretty serious and some parts do tend to drag on but you HAVE to build up the story somewhere to see how the characters got as far as they have and what the hell is going on.
So I can be giddy all my semi lonesome ^_~

Brandon's Transformations
Stage One I couldn't help but include the shirtless scenes from eps. 2 when he was doing pullups and right after he was done. Plus I LOVE the sweet look on his face when he saw Maria visiting to make sure that he was okay after a fight she had witnessed.
Stage Two. A few years after Brandon had moved up in the ranks of the Syndicate. The only thing that BUGS the shit out of me, is how they don't really let you know how many yrs or months have gone by. I wish they would do what FMA has done, letting you know how old the characters are and how much time has passed.
Stage Three. Brandon's new present look.
Misc.. I just put this in here cause its also some more caps from #14 and plus also some of my fav. clips. I also thought of this after looking at the chibi pic. How much Harry's character design changed, mostly his eyes. In the first few eps, his eyes are big and wide like what is shown in the chibi pic. But as the eps move along, his eyes get smaller and I guess you could say normal in size.

I had to make a small spot for them. I only made do with what clips I had of them handy. These came from eps. 6 (except the very bottom pic)
B&M moments. Since I forgot to put text in that page, the 1st pic, he doesn't know how to dance so she teaches him. The bottom pic I just adore!
And while I think of it, to those who love anime OST's, I HIGHLY recommend getting the Gungrave soundtrack uno Righthead (the anime version, not the game OST even though that one is good too!). From the website, it was just released but its also out there in bit torrent land. Even though I have it downloaded, this is something I still would like to buy. If you are into strings/orchestra/ guitar type music, then I don't think you'd be disappointed in it. Plus some songs have that mafia feel to it, since after all, its what Gungrave's about. (see the community if you don't know what it pertains or who created it). Some songs are really touching and there is one song that is in english called Clue (which I LOVE), it kinda reminds me of something you'd hear on Wolf's Rain.
So there ya be! Hope ya like.

Plus since I have to work OT today till about 11 or so, perhaps I can catch up a bit of writing if my brain allows me to.
