Wolf's Rain #28 and Gungrave #16

Damn, whats with the emotional eps as of late??? Finally got around to watching WR 28 last night. My thought on the matter is, why are they letting Quent live? If anything, I would've had his character killed off instead of the 2 recent deaths that just happened, and yes, I don't see the one that got shot surviving, since they don't show him in the preview, plus the wolves are howling as if morning a loss. I'm hoping like hell they explain more on Darcia's part, fucking bastard but at least he's hurt too so :P *sniffles* Ah...more Blue and Hige mushy moments.


As for Gungrave, man its getting down to the nitty gritty! I was quite shocked in this eps knowing what Brandon's plans were for himself in the future, not only that but fooling us earlier thinking he didn't know what was really going on. I guess those quiet characters are tricky ^_~ I also uploaded some pics to this eps too, some might have spoilers since the subs are in the pic so what few that are watching this or that will soon watch this, its up to you if you want to take a look.

If you'd like, I can just burn copies for you just cause with it already being picked up by Pioneer (no word on when its going to be out on dvd), I'm afraid that it might become harder to find within time to dl.

So far so good, I can fit 4 eps per disc, and since #16 came out, I can now make a disc that has 13-16 on it.

If you like Trigun, I think you'll like this just cause certain characters either in the design or certain equipment reminds you of it, plus I like the fact that it deals with the mafia.

Sure since you don't mind. I use to know how to hide the text and having the reader highlight the area but I forget the code.


In #27 Cher dies a sudden and shocking death. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE saw this coming, not the viewer and certainly not the characters. And its so gut wrenching rip-your-heartout when you see Hubb holding her body when she finally dies and he's just crying his heart out. Of course we should've known this was going to happen just cause they were both talking about getting back together and living their life again and of course Hubb with his talks about having a baby.

#28, Toboe gets shot, trying to defend Quent from getting shot by Darcia. I'm pretty certain that he isn't going to live cause he's not in the preview and the wolves are howling as if in mourning. I don't think this wound is something Cheza can heal, plus she too isn't doing all that well either.

Thanks, Beck! That appease my thirst for Wolf's Rain knowledge. ^_~ That's soooo sad about Cher! *sniffs* She and Hubb were so cute together! I really liked them.

And Toboe! Oh man, I still have to keep my fingers crossed for him, even if there's no hope. Killing him off is just not right. ARGH!

Quick question: So Gungrave isn't out then? Blergh. This explains my difficulties in finding it! *grin* Anywhere I can go to dl them? 'Cause I'm having problems finding them (to download or buy) ANYWHERE.
And when I ask people they just look at me like: "What the heck are you talking about?"
So, brilliant idea, I'll ask the all-knowing mistress of Gungrave knowledge where she found it! 'Cause you're the only person I've ever seen mention it..(Hence the long comment..all to ask; Where can I find Gungrave?)

I think that in a way, I find that good that its not very popular amongst the fanbase universe. Like Dove said too, its more likely geared to guys to watching it cause of all the shooting in the anime and how the PS2 game isn't something you'd see girls playing either (which of course I think its badass). Plus with the way Brandon is devoted to Harry as such a best friend, well we know how that goes regardless of how the guys have feelings for the girls in the anime, another reason why I'm glad its not popular.

If you like Trigun or the likes of it, I think you'll like this, its kinda creepy how you can compare certain characters and certain weapons like you would Trigun.

I can just make copies for you since its so far ahead into the series, plus with Pioneer claming the rights to it BEFORE the damn thing even got past the 1st eps, it might be starting to get harder to find. Yet maybe cause its not popular is one of the reasons why they are still subbing it (even though they are taking FORFUCKING EVER!!! to get the subs out, its already up to #18 in Japan)
