d00d!!!!!!!!!!! YES!! You seen that right! They finally updated the summaries on the japanese site to eps. 22!!!!!!!!!! *dances around*
Eps. 19-22, I will put behind a cut tag so as not to spoil anyone unless you want to know. Half of what will be explained won't make much sense to those who have not played the game. The only one that I won't put behind a cut tag is #18 for many reasons.
I watched the raw eps of 18, and can't wait till the sub comes out, I'm DYING to know what was said. They are recapping for us, what went on in eps. 1 BUT they are adding in new scenes that weren't in #1 such as::
The attack outside of the truck, we get to see more than just Grave shooting at the Orc's. We get to see him in action using the casket as a machine gun and a rocket launcher, KICKASS to see this up close in animation than what we get to witness in the game. We also see the reason for Grave's panic attacks where he holds his head. Reason being is he has flashbacks of the past memories I guess Brandon has suppressed since being "dead". Until the sub comes out, I want to say that perhaps if Brandon/Grave starts remembering things from the past, it could cause some trouble, we have yet to find out. I'm sure Dr. T tells Mika something of that nature regarding the memories. Not quite sure if word gets out about how Brandon was brought back to life when Harry and his men have their meeting, they do show clips of #15 when the factory was blowing up and such. Lets just say, that by the end of #18, Bob is having a shit fit and sounds like he might be transforming, don't know yet but you can tell by the tone of his voice.
I went on a capping spree with the raw to this eps. I won't post any till I get the chance to watch the sub and then be able to make a small commentary of what is going on. Plus since I made so many, I gotta start looking for places to host alot of these pics.
Summary for eps. 19 "SUPERIOR" IF the translation is right, Mika finds out more about Millennion and Brandon's past by the old informer Scott, the bastard that turned against Harry and Brandon back in the early early eps. The one that turned Kenny in to the old hag. It seems this eps moves on to where Harry has set up a party as a trap to bring in Grave. Now in the game, they use an airship for the party, not sure if they will use this in the anime or not. I'm just comparing the situations between the two. So this means that Grave does come face to face with Harry and his men and Bob takes the stand to fight Grave first. This could be where Bob transforms and the smack down begins.
Summary for eps. 20 "BROTHER" I can't quite understand what the translation is trying to say. From the start, Grave probably ended his showdown with Bob since we are now moving up to Lee's appearance with Grave next. It sounds like Mika and Grave go back to where Maria use to live. I don't know if this means where Maria grew up at with Jester or the place where Mika lived. The translation just says that the two visit the apartment that Maria had lived. Perhaps word got out about what they are doing and when they arrive at the apartment, Bunji meets them there. Translation ends there. I'm anxious though to see what is actually going to go on in this eps.
Summary for eps. 21 "DUTY" Boy are we in for a surprise here. Not just the viewers but for the next cast of characters who will be surprised by a visit. Dr.T, Mika, and Grave go see Gary and his boss (I never did catch the boss's name). Gary and the boss are the ones who Brandon use to work for before he moved up in ranks. Of course Gary and the others are stunned by Brandon's (Grave's) appearance, Mika tells them the story of what happened to calm their nerves, even though for the most part, Gary and the others knew that Brandon never would have betrayed the Syndicate. Grave leaves Mika to their care and he borrows the boss's car to make a visit to someone in Millennion (doesn't say who in the translation). The only thing I'm going to dread about this eps, is what I'm about to type next. Lee and his assassins, or perhaps is just that Lee commands his assassins to go to the apartment that Mika is staying at with Gary and the others. The translation ends there BUT I'm afraid that they are going to end up killing Gary, his boss, and Dr. T in order to kidnap Mika. Its hard to say since they are adding in ALOT more scenes than what the game had regarding the kidnapping.
Summary for eps. 22 "REMORSE" Oooookay, so it seems that Dr.T isn't killed in 21. Since in the game, when Lee's assassins come to kidnap Mika, they end up shooting through the door and hitting Dr.T in the process. BUT in the game as I have noticed in Stage 6, Mika told Grave that she would stay with Dr.T since she didn't want to leave him alone, so who the hell knows now!!!!!!!! Anyways, regarding the anime.....Grave goes to rescue Mika at the subway station and faces off with Lee after the subway train takes him to where either Lee is or he meets Lee on the train. Now, will this eps end with Grave defeating Lee or will the fight continue on in #23? I think the fight will end in this eps.
Now, we are getting near the end, I think they can wrap this up in 26 eps. Next up will be the face off with Bear, Bunji, and then Harry. So I think they can wrap that up in 4 more eps, UNLESS they plan to add in more than what of course the game shows, could it be possible to finish this in 30 eps? Cause there is a surprise character who SHOCKED THE HELL out of me in the game that Harry brought in to face Grave, will they include this character in the anime or not? *bites nails to the nub*
