Made a few caps to #18, didn't make too many since its also close to what we've seen in eps. 1 EXCEPT for new added scenes and the flashbacks. Since there were a good bit of quick flashbacks, it wasn't really worth capping.
New action scenes stuff added in that wasn't seen in eps.1
Mika has a talk with Grave No wonder she can't look straight at him since, as we can see below in the other pics, he's naked. All we get is a black blur ^_~
The suffering starts BUT we know why he has those mental attacks now.
As the fighting begins Lame title I know but since I didn't include much regarding the fight since alot of the action/moving scenes are a bit hard to cap cause of it coming out blurry.
Grave's/Brandon's favorite gesture
After all is said and done. Close to the end of this eps. After a few more chit chats with Dr.T and Mika, it then goes back to Harry and his men discussing what to do in regards how to take Grave down where it picks up then in #19.
If and when I get time, I might make more and better caps for this eps, but for now, I'm not worried about it.
Now my thoughts about eps. 19. There will be spoilers in this.
This eps ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! I actually like this scene better than the game when Grave has to fight Bob first. The game has it take place on an airship whereas the anime is in a fancy building. Course when Grave does show up, it has the same scene as in the game with Harry and his men on the balcony to greet him.
But before we get to that, we have a cute beginning with Grave and Mika out food shopping. The disguise that Mika buys Grave is silly yet cute, he doesn't seem to mind.
This is the eps that Scotty comes in. I think what they did regarding the game and the anime is that, in the game, the informant in the alley tells Grave about the party that Harry is having. Not long after the guy tells him that info, someone in the shadows kills off the informant. In the anime, that whole scene is changed since Grave found out about the party from two Syndicate guys who were near Grave's table at an outdoor cafe. BUT since Scotty was telling Mika info that she paid for, he's the one that gets killed later by a low henchman and an Orc.
There's some sweet gestures that Grave does to Mika and smiles alot at her. We even get to hear Grave speak a few words in this eps.
Now we get to the fight with Bob. The thing I really dig about the anime is being able to see the transformations ALOT closer with detail than the far away clips on the game. Bob's form is so GROSS!!!!! But I will say during the fight, we get some nice looking clips of Grave's face upclose. The action is really good, I'm glad that in a way, Grave does take a beating. I mean it just wouldn't be all that great if he didn't suffer any of the blasts that he's given. The thing that makes you think is that Speriole experiment (aka new Necro-rise). In the anime after Bob's creature is shot down, Bob turns back to his old self, pleads with Brandon as Brandon was going to let Bob live. As Brandon turns his back, Bob's other form starts to come out again before Brandon finally takes him down. In the game, we don't mess with that, once you kill the 2nd form of that boss, its over with. Its kinda neat though in the anime, just gives it that added flare.
The ending was cute when Mika and Dr.T showed up to check up on Grave. In this scene, Mika is just a very cute character who has a very strong head on her shoulders. I love her character!
I can't wait for this eps to be subbed as well.
I spent all last night at work making caps to eps. 19. My total in all........................ 80 screencaps! 80!!!!!!!! I couldn't help it, there was just alot of good scenes in this even though I still couldn't cap certain clips cause of all the action and the quick flashbacks.
