Christ all mighty!!!!!!!!!!!! I woke up this afternoon to the sound of thunder, wind, and a downpour. Since my alarm was soon going off anyways, I was wide awake and went out to the back porch to see what it was doing. HOLY SHIT! This storm was fierce. Hubby and the guys from the fire dept. are holed up at the high school being on the storm watch. Then he wanted me to pull the car to go out back under the car port in case it hailed. You almost had to have a small boat to get down the back street and in the back drive way, it was that flooded already.

Don't know how long its been doing this but I don't see it lasting, harsh thunder storms never do.


On a side note, I ordered some anime dvds online I've been wanting to catch up on buying. Course every single one was on back order so what do they do???? I got an email saying that the 1st two dvds came in and are being shipped out. WHY CAN'T YOU WAIT TILL ALL MY DVDS ARE IN, THEN SHIP THEM OUT??????!!!!!!!!!!!!! It only makes sense if you ask me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >__

Or they could at least give you the option of waiting for all the dvds to come or split the shipments.

It was pretty bad here (stormwise), I was just glad it was all settled down by the time I left work.

No doubt! And I like buying from them too cause I do find them a bit cheaper than Best Buy, plus it saves me from having to drive so far just to find out the damn store doesn't have them in stock.

The storm was so fucked up. I'm not sure what time it started but I was awake for close to the end of it which was about an hr and a half. By the time things calmed down, the sun started to come out -__- you wouldn't think that we had a near hurricane on our hands an hr ago.

B/c the best way to get you is w/the shipping costs.... which was 1 of the reasons I stopped ordering DVDs online anymore. Hell, sometimes, it's not even worth WAITING for the damn DVDs to come in. What's spent on shipping/handling alone will prolly cost you the same if you go to the store & actually picking it up... Tho, I've been noticing lately that Suncoast here in Woodbridge Mall are actually having sales or even selling some of their dvds on discounted prices. Plus, I gots muh Replay card so I can stack up points & get coupons twds purchases on other dvds/cds/mangas; which is like the best thing for me to do when I need to catch up on my manga readings... ;P

Well the shipping for the 1st two dvds weren't that much, just $3 and that was priority. And I like buying online from time to time cause it keeps me from having to drive so far just to find out that the store doesn't have it in. I heard that a good bit of Suncoasts were closing hence why they are starting to lower their prices. I don't like buying from there, I feel ripped off on paying such a high price when I can get it at another store cheaper.

Now if Best Buy would start selling manga, I'd be set to go. I also hate going from bookstore to bookstore just to see if they have the manga I want since half the time, the anime place down the highway from us, she hardly keeps her stock in or only orders 1 book >_

Knock on wood but the only winter we had so far was that snow we had the night before Vday. We already braved Feb since last yr we had that god awful ice for a week. I guess I'd rather put up with ferocious rains and warm, humid winters than the ice crap.

I like thunderstorms too as long as I'm in the house and not on the road or just out somewhere waiting for it to pass by.

Animes I bought is Witch Hunter Robin #3, Last Exile #2, and the last FMP #7.
