Sunday, I almost didn't have any hope of the weather clearing out so we could go swimming (even if it was raining, we were going to use the pool anyways) but later in the morning/afternoon, the sun was out for a good bit. The pool temp was 100 which felt good but it also felt as if you were swimming in the spa but at least Terry and his wife enjoyed themselves.

I also called mom early that day to see how her schedule was cause I wanted to call her on Mon. Well she called me back later Sun night but I was just waking up from my nap and very incoherent so she decided to call me back later on Mon. I haven't talked to her since New Yr's Day. Everytime I hear about things back home, I'm sooooooooo glad I don't live in PA anymore. Mom works 2 jobs, one part time on 2nd shift, and the other is full time which is 3rd shift. Well its pretty fucking sad when BOTH jobs are slow with having much work for them to do. The plant she use to work for is re-opening up down the street from where she lives and she has a good chance of being hired back, while keeping the 6yrs that she already put in. (everyone was laid off till companies changed hands) My older sis got laid off back in early Feb and is going stir crazy at home being around her boys 24/7 now. Mom's been helping her out again by keeping the boys on the weekends. (my brother in law's been putting around 60hrs a week at his job).

Mom told me the cutest thing regarding my nephews. Ethan, who will be 6 soon, wanted something from Wendy's. Well since my sis is strapped for cash, she told him that she didn't have any money on her. Ethan told her that he still had some money left but I guess he was told that he wasn't supposed to use it on food. She let him get something at Wendy's and then my 2yr old neph. Dylan said he wanted something too. Ethan told my sis that he would buy his little brother something. Mom was proud of Ethan's kindness that she reimbursed Ethan for the money he spent, only cause he was nice to his brother to offer to buy his too. That is very rare for young siblings to do that for one another, especially that age. I know I sure as hell wouldn't expect that from my middle sis, not then, and not now. She squeaks so much when she walks, she's that tight with her money to ANYONE, INCLUDING family >__<.

Mom also informed me about my dad's father's recent situation. I didn't think that his diabetes was that bad but its bad enough to where they believe his kidneys are failing. They asked about a transplant but they told them for his age, its no use (I think he's late 60's to early 70). Also during the times when they had bad weather with the snow and ice, he climbed up to the porch roof to clean it off, only to have fallen off. He landed on his arm and bruised it really bad to the point where it has not healed yet and they will have to do surgery on it soon. He was admitted into the hospital recently cause he also had a fainting spell last weekend ontop of everything else he has wrong with him.

For those that are reading this, please don't feel pity. If anyone would know what our childhood was like with this man, you would understand when I say, I don't care what happens to him even if he were to die next week. You may think I'm cruel and heartless for thinking that but I really don't care. My dad's parents never treated dad like a son, they catered more to my aunt/ my dad's only & older sibling. Not only catering to her, but to her kids and family as well, whereas we were looked down upon. My dad's father is such a cold and stubborn man who thinks that the world has to evolve around him and don't dare to think that you can talk down to him either, he'll let you have it. We've had so many disputes with this man, its sickening. He barely consoled my grandma when dad died, sometimes it makes me wonder if he even cared that dad was dead. I could only have wished that it was him that was buried 6ft under instead of dad. My grandma just came down with Parkinson's disease a few yrs ago and do you think that asshole would help that woman around the house? Fuck no! We were all thinking that the way grandma is, that she would go before Harvey but the way things are going, we'll be shocked if he goes first. And the sad part is, my aunt finally, FINALLY understood and seen with her own eyes about how my family felt about this hateful man that she called "daddy". *gags* He started to become hateful to my male cousins (my aunt's kids) and was starting to get an attitude with my aunt recently. Why does it have to take someone that long to see what someone means when a person is the way they are?????!!!!!! I guess it has to happen to them to finally get a fucking clue.

And for Monday, I'm still wondering where the day went. I worked out, did about an hr shopping at Walmart and that was just on picking out a months worth of greeting cards O__O (I really hate that job). Got to putty the holes in bubba's new compy stand so he can work on sanding it down and staining it but after that, it just seemed that time flew by so quick.

Regarding LOTR #3, mom told me that the dvd release date is pending for May O__O, I wasn't expecting it to be released that early but I guess they are pushing for it.

I finally got my Last Exile dvd 2 in the mail recently, now hope for my WHR #3 like SOON! I'm finally catching up with the recent Naruto eps, have 72-74 to watch, this is the first I've ever been so far behind with this series, but I guess since I read the manga, I already know what's going to happen. Got a kick out of #71, except Orochi scared/scares me, especially that creepy femmy form he turned into at the end of #71 *shudders* Is it me, or does he look like a fucked up version of Chucky?

I brought Naruto with me along with my LE dvd. So I'm hoping that between the two, I will have time to try and cap what I can of Gungrave #21.

Love,

You may think I'm cruel and heartless for thinking that but I really don't care.

In all honesty, I can relate to where you're coming from. I'm completely estranged from my father's side of the family, and really, I could care less about what happens to him. The only thing I'm wanting out of my father's family is the whereabouts of my half sister, which I haven't seen since '83. Other than that... well...

But, still *snugs your way*. ^^ I'm going to bust some butt and get that picture done for you~

How much older is she from you and do you think that if you did find her whereabouts, would she talk to you?

Like we tell ppl who ask about my dad's parents or what not and we tell them that we only have one set of grandparents and they are/were my mom's parents. They loved us kids and TREATED us like real grandchildren. I just miss my grandma to this day since its been 4 yrs since she's passed on.

*basks in the snugs* Try not to bruise your butt, you might not be able to focus on the pic ^_~

My butt is mighty! ... that's an image people probably didn't need.

There's about 6 years between me and my sister, and considering I haven't seen her since she was born, actual communication when I get a hold of her might be... interesting. Likely, nonexistent, but hey... ^^ Last I knew she was not living with my father, which is an interesting tidbit, especially considering the last i heard about her mother was that good ol' Pops threw her into a mental institution. :/

Yeah, I'm the same way, really. I've only really c onsiderered my mother's parents my grandparents. Unfortunately, they're both passed on, and have been for quite some time. :/
