And I DO mean random.
First off, stupid movie for the weekend::
Finally caught some of Dudley Do Right. I kinda wanted to see it when it first came out but ONLY cause of Brendan Fraiser (who plays Dudley). Needless to say, this movie is a joke and I pitied ppl who might have spent money to actually go see the film when it came out. GRANTED that the cartoon was just as dumb but oh well, I wasn't really expecting much from it.
Watched Naruto #77 last night. Awwwwwwww! Poor chibi Gaara! I knew his childhood was sad in the manga but when you finally see it animated, it takes on a whole new meaning. Got a kick out of the little frog that Naruto conjures but look forward to #78 when the big toad comes to kick ass! I see that Kishimoto's love for DBZ is coming through with the anime, this damn fight scene with the 3rd is taking waaaaaaaay too fucking long! I don't think it even dragged on that much in the manga. But then again, I'm sure its more of the animators fault, not so much on Kishimoto's side. Not only that but the fights do tend to drag on ALOT in this series, I think it will be awhile before they catch up to the manga.
ARRRGH! Its not going to be too long before I have someone in the printroom with me. I noticed a cubicle type set up in the one corner by the window and asked TC about it last night. Supposedly some bitch who has NOTHING to do with us, just up and decides that she's going to put each of her shift ppl in with us. WHY!!?? I would like to know! They aren't going to be doing our work nor using our printers, is using the 3rd floor WHERE THEY BELONG too good for them?? Everytime I look over, I get highly irritated and I heard the 1st shift girl isn't too pleased with this either. No clue yet on when they are going to have this shit completed. >____<
On a better note (and hoping I'm not jinxing myself before I try it out), I checked the other computer we use since they disabled the 2nd network to it, and saw that I can log in with my screen name. This means I can still get on AIM with that compy, hook my laptop to the connection on this compy that I'm using now, and start transfering myself ALL the anime art pics and amvids off this thing. I need to start cleaning this out before they ever have to check ours or take it away for fixing up.
On the music front, two Sunday's ago, we decided to go into town since bubba needed stuff from PetSmart, Home Depot, and since HD is by Best Buy, I threw the charm on about stopping at Best Buy ^_____^. I'm STILL not very pleased with their anime selection. They still ONLY have the 1st dvd of Witch Hunter Robin and the 1st dvd of Last Exile. I'm getting tired of waiting for WHR #3 to be out of stock with my order online that I'm thinking about canceling it soon and just get it from Amazon as well as catching up to get #4 and LE #3. Since I was pissed off in that section, I decided to check out the cds and see if they had one I was looking for. Notice my surprise when they did and only had one on the shelf. I FINALLY got Fischerspooner #1 on cd. I got into them when I first heard Emerge on the Dance channel that was on Direct Tv last summer but kept forgetting about checking the cd out. Its pretty good if your into that type of odd techno dance what have you. (Thanx to Chris Patton though for talking about the band again in his LJ awhile back that made me remember).
Then trying to find bubba in the store is a challenge in itself especially when he doesn't tell me where he was going. He got me a battery back up pack for my compy and then we splurged on buying the trilogy set of the American Pie dvds, Nat'l Lampoon's Van Wilder, and the Blue Hour Comedy Tour (with Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engval, Ron White, and Larry the cable guy). We found that buying EACH American Pie dvds (including American Wedding) were cheaper than buying the boxset O___O
UGH! I sooo want one of our scanners hooked up to my compy!! I don't really like the new one all that much and bubba doubts the other older one might not work with mine *frumps*. I want to scan in pics and I don't want to use the digital camera cause its harder to get certain things to come out right and not have the flash marking once its taken (but sometimes if you DON'T use the flash, then the pic looks like shit). I am going to have to take pics of my Gungrave Archives though with the camera since the book is so bulky and can't fit it right on the scanner.
Oooooooooooh............speaking of Gungrave and artbooks, I got my paws on a new Gungrave O.D. Official Strategy Guide. It has 97 color pages. It contains color character art by Yasuhiro Nightow, maps, color screen captures & game info, etc. There hasn't been much seen with Gungrave OD art so I look forward to seeing the original designs. Sucks that the book is coming from Japan so lord knows how long it will take for me to receive it.
As much as I like working out, in some ways now, I don't feel as if I'm getting any benefits from the place I do work out at. Sure it has worked wonders when I first started back in Aug. but I just feel its not doing its job anymore. I also think that for the one I have to drive to after work, the only one in the area that opens at 8am is what makes me NOT want to work out cause of the distance. The one closer on the way home opens at 9 and that just doesn't fit into my schedule cause I don't feel like sitting in the car for an hr. 3 days a week. I also like a good work out that makes my muscles sore and I never felt this way at the place I do go to. *sigh* Can't really do much till my membership is up in Aug.
And to end my huge babblings, I am so close to ending this 3x11 icon fic but the ending itself is pissing me off! If it weren't for that, it would've been completed last week *pulls hair out some more*
Course it never fails either. I washed the car yesterday and is now raining this morning.
Gee thanx! Now I'm a big druggie with bushy eyebrows (and all this time I keep thinking of Lee from Naruto).

I can't wait for the rest of the series to get subbed so I can make copies for you and will be throwing something extra special in with that package too. Hard to say when that will happen till they get off their ass and sub #24-26 faster.

*LOL* Dudley Do Right, I remember that movie. It was kinda crappy yet funny at the same time. I like the part where the bad guy had on navy blue instead of black. That was stupid enough to make me laugh.
The situation with the new people coming into the print room is strange. I could understand if they were going to use the printers and stuff. I guess having them on the 3rd floor would be too much like right. Hopefully the new folks won't be annoying.

That's a mess! I wonder how many people picked up on that. Probably not to many because they might assume that it would be cheaper in the set. *LOL* I have yet to see one of these movies. I'll get around to it eventually.

I would've tried to watch the rest of Dudley but I was sleepy and the parts when they were singing kinda turned me away from it.
The thing about my work is I hate it when ppl invade my space even though they aren't next to me, its still the idea of someone in here and probably feel as if I'm being watched on what I do, which I know isn't the case.
Hard to say how many ppl would noticed the difference of prices cause the boxset was right next to the single dvds.
