Yesterday morning I made a post about the car and later bubba took pics of it one last time. I kinda miss not driving the car and it was a bitch not having power steering in it but I got use to it. The color of the car use to be a light blue with a faded yellow racing stripe down the middle. In '00, when we thought we were going to fix the car up, we stripped the car completely and took the paint off. Bubba later did the bodywork and just put primer on for the time being, hence the color that it is now. We just never got around to putting the little pieces back on the car such as the Mustang horse and the name back on it.

So here be the car, '67 Mustang

Oh MAAAN! *drools* You should keep it!!

*drools more*

One of these days, when I no longer have a house, and I have money, and no bills, and want to commit myself to another car payment, I'm getting myself a Mustang. It is THE one car that I want right now, and this old classic looks really nice. Out of curiosity... how much are you selling it for?

Damn babe...that's a pretty car. I'm not much for mustangs knowledge, but that is the best year for them; probably why they used that style for the '05 mustangs. Thank the Lord they are out of that sedan style. yuck.

Now this is something fucked up I heard but it's true. This old man had a '60s cadillac and it was always pristine. He took it to a dealer and traded it in for a newer one- but he didn't think of value for the company so the trade was small. The next week he drove down the road looking for his old car in the lot- it was in the show room costing $15,000 when he got a measly $800. No lie...fix it up and maybe since that style is being used in the new mustangs, the ford dealer might take it for a nice price- if you don't get screwed by them that is.

Not too long ago, I saw an ad in the paper about the new Mustang's for '05 and went O______O. After all this time, NOW they decide to have something that kinda looks like the old ones. I never did think that the new Mustangs ever resembled the classic ones. I remember seeing the ads when they came out bragging about it, and I'm like "yeah right, what the fuck ever."

Hubby said that if we were to have done that regarding that story, we would've been fucked over too w/put a doubt. They'd take one look at it and say "$500", fix it up, and then have it up for sale for lord knows how much and since they are coming out with that new style next yr, I'm sure my car would've been pretty pricey if they would've bought it.

Yeah it still kinda hurt a little about getting rid of it but bubba just doesn't have the time nor patience on working with Fords. This car gave him so much problems, I wouldn't want to put him through all that mess again.

Maybe later in life, I can get my other dream car, a late model '60'ish Camaro but only if we are ever lucky enough to find one that ISN'T a race car.
