(no subject)

I'm surprised that I even got around to adding anything to this tonight/morning. Fri nights are normally slow for me at work so I spent half of it in chat (which feel free to IM me if your on late, I'm usually on. My screename is in my userinfo) and after I got off of chat, I spent TRYING to catch up emails that I owe ppl. Got at least one email drafted so YAY ME! Now I was debating between watching FLCL or updating this or playing solitaire on the compy. Guess which one got the best of me? Thats right, damn solitaire! Now I see why mom is so addicted to it and its the only reason why she uses my sister compy back home. I told her she needs an email account so it will be cheaper on the phone bill. She's like "No, I don't want to mess with computer stuff. I go as far as playing solitaire and thats it." That woman could be playing that game for HOURS on end, you can't get her to stop OR she'll say "One more game and then I'm done, just one more." Well that one more turns into another hour. Bummer! I had to tell myself to STOP! Go update journal and THEN if you got time before getting off of work, THEN finish playing solitaire. *sigh* So thats what I did. It wouldn't have paid to watch FLCL anyways cause eps 1 and 4 have no sound. Its only 6 eps long and sure its got subtitles but I want to hear whats going on too. So hopefully War Dove can download me #1 and #4 to go with the rest of my collection for my compy. I still want to thank Jiyuri/Julie for making me these copies for X-mas last yr. But what I have seen of FLCL that I watched regardless of no sound, its very weird but commical. The main boy on the show is adorable but poor thing has to go through alot of shit especially with that crazy chick having a thing for him. It is being released on dvd but only one eps per dvd O__O as if! That shit isn't worth it, if your going to waste money on doing that, put all 6 on one disc, morons! I also see that they are FINALLY coming out with the GundamWing dvd boxset and even though that was what I was waiting for in order to just buy them all at once, I'm going to have to save a bit of cash for that. Between $179 or the original price of $199. I'd rather wait and see if I can't get it cheaper. That would also mean cutting back on spending for my doujinshis and that IS NOT going to happen!

Well at least the funky smell at work tonight wasn't around. Then again the 2nd shift dude had the night off (still putting two and two together *shrugs*)

I don't mind baking but I thought I would never see the bottom of my bowl this afternoon when I had to bake sugar cookies. At least they don't take too long to bake. I hope that hubby and the rest of those who are going to bust their butts today outside of Walmart from our volunteer fire dept raise enough money. All the hard work these guys/gals do and they don't receive very much recognition. So to all of yous out there (yes I said "YOUS" its a Yankee slang!), support your local volunteer fire dept, if it weren't for them, we'd be screwed when it came to structure fires and accidents. And believe me, I hear alot of stories between gory accidents and reg. calls that hubby goes out to. My dad use to be part of the vol. fire dept too back home and even though he didn't get a chance to go out on the calls, I still know what its like to have someone close to be a part of this line of duty. At least hubby and the rest of the crew collected alot of baked goods from the ppl in the community in order to have this "bake sale"/donation.

Welp have at least 30mins till I leave work and think I shall go and play some solitaire to kill some time ^_^
