Today is another laundry day. I swear to god that it seems like clothes just breed! Everytime I turn around its time to do more laundry and theres only two of us in this household. I still have a huge pile of clean clothes on the sectional in the living room that needs to be put away, another small pile in my closet laying on the floor, and some in a pile on the spare bed in hubby's computer room. I mean really, dressers and closets are so over rated ^_~, having them laying on the floor is convient cause you dont have to look everywhere for what you want to wear.
And before I forget, a very Happy 40th Birthday to Scott McNeil today! May not be too happy for him considering he's 40 but what's in an age anyway? ^_~
Last night I finally got to see Hearts in Atlantis on one of the many HBO channels we have on Direct tv. In case some may not know, its a movie based on Stephen King's book. I saw it from the beginning to end and I'm still going "what?" The movie made no sense to me whatsoever and I think its one of those that its better just reading the book, which I do have and forgot that I have it. Once I'm done reading my other King book, I'll start Atlantis. Some movies are good when they adapt it from a book but for the most part, ALOT of Stephen King's stuff needs to be just stay as a book and not a movie. For instance Cujo. I haven't seen that movie since I was little and laser discs were the IN thing. A few weeks ago was like Stephen King movie weekend on Sci Fi and USA and I got to see Cujo again on Sci Fi. I was VERY disappointed in that movie. I read the book this summer and after seeing the end of the movie, I threw a fit. WARNING SPOILERS HERE::: The little boy DIES in the book but in the movie he lives. Hell, they kept in the movie for Pet Semetary when the 18 wheeler hit the little boy, why in the hell didn't they keep the kid dead at the end of Cujo!? Another new thing they did based on one of King's new books was Rose Red. It was a 3 part miniseries and even that one left me going "what the hell!?" Its way whacked and guess I have to get mom to get me the book where she works in order for me to grasp what the hell the purpose and the ending meant for Rose Red.
Finally remembered to watch South Park too last night. It was Fat Camp where Cartman's mom had an intervention to let Eric know that he's fat and something needed to be done. Well the camp part was funny but the thing they did for Kenny was SICK SICK SICK!!! I was grossing out the whole time on all the stuff they made Kenny do. More less paying him to do sick things and the ending with the bus driver was GROSS! My god, makes me wonder what drugs Matt and Trey were taking when they did that segment. I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares over it.
Before I went to bed early (hence why I stayed awake after hubby left for work after 4 this morning) and before I set the vcr to tape Inu Yasha, I checked out the Legends on VH1 which was Pink Floyd. I never really heard any of their early early stuff but the clips that they played while talking to some of the band members was waaaaaaaaay out there. Might have to look into seeing if I can't download some of their older songs somewhere. Hubby is a Floyd nut and has quite a bit in the cd collection except for their older stuff. I was never into them that much cause of my hippy neighbors back home played them alot. But after I met my husband, I got back into liking their music.
Guess I'll start a load of laundry soon and FINALLY watch the rest of Ayashi no Ceres so I can give back Holly her dvd boxset. *drools over Tooya*
