Yeah, thanx to Ali and Holly this past weekend for getting that damn song stuck in my head. Speaking of which, I had a nice time as usual when I go to visit Holly and Ali (even though I was bringing Holly back home). Seems like its been a Harry Potter CoS weekend for quite a few folks, me being one of them. Holly twisted an arm and a leg and threatened me to go see it or she would do bodily harm to me ^_~. It wasn't a bad movie considering I'm not a HP fan. But after hearing the interesting parts that they didn't have in the movie thats in the book, now has me wanting to get mom to get me the books *starts feeling forehead for a fever*
Got caught up in watching more Scryed tonight at work but at least I'm getting near the end. And so far the events that has turned around now has me disolving the thought I had earlier on who truely is/was the bad person. Its also nice to see Ryuhou smile again instead of having that cold look on his face since the beginning of the series. Most likely before the week ends, I should be done with the series.
Mon. we finally got around to putting up some of the X-mas stuff. I don't know why I thought we had more stuff than before but I guess not (even though its still alot). We put the tree together and I hate fluffing out the branches but its still pretty once its all done. Now I'm just waiting for hubby to put the lights, tinsel, and the star on before I can decorate it. Funny how back home, mom did the same job too, lights, tinsel, and star while I did the rest since I enjoyed it for some reason. One thing I do miss though is having the tree fall on mom every yr while trying to tighten the tree stand screws into the trunk when we use to get a real tree. It was always a commical sight since it seemed like the tree was attacking her (no, she wasn't hurt).
We also set up the train we got last yr around the tree and it seems this time that cat isn't afraid of it like before. I just hope that he doesn't puke on the track like last yr, out of all the damn ass places to do it too.
Later on, hubby and I went to the hobby shop so he could check out some model train stuff and I walked over to the comic book store to see what all of anime they had. They had a few mangas, dvds, magazines, and how to books. I checked out the How to draw manga books and I was kinda disappointed in what all they show (which to me, didn't seem like much for a beginner). But since they didn't have the 1st volume, I might be missing out on something. So next time I do see it, I still want to get it. Since they didn't have any drawing books that interested me, I decided to get the Endless Waltz manga. Gives me that overall warm fuzzy feeling of seeing Heero and Relena standing together under the stars looking at the night sky. I have to finish reading it since I just skimmed a few pages to look at the pics.
Speaking of manga's, Lucky showed me some pics of the Weiss Kreuz Gluhen manga and I thought the anime was horrible, the manga looks worse and very dark and creepy.
Also got Stefy's package in the mail today which held Italian chocolate. Boy she wasn't lying saying about how after getting her gift, that you would need to go on a diet. It would help if I knew what the candy packages say but its all in Italian so I guess I'll just go in blind.
