Just a blurb about PoTC

I finally treated myself yesterday morning on going to see PoTC. First off, what the fuck is with movies showing god damn commercials all of a sudden? Like its not bad enough that the movie previews and such take up half the time when the movie is supposed to actually start. And speaking of previews, the ones they showed at the theatre I was at, were pretty lame. I'm kinda interested in seeing what this Elf movie is like that was on the side of my soda cup that stars Will Farell. (and yeah, just what I would want plastered all over ads for this movie is my crotch in tights and nothing else above the waist).

For the actual movie itself, it was as good as I thought it was going to be back when they showed very little previews for it. Now I see ppl jump on that character bandwagon but I guess I'm just the odd one of them all. Granted, I LOVED Jack's character but the thing that blew my mind were the skeletons. The effect wasn't overly cheesy to where you could just roll your eyes at, they did a great job with the CG.

The thing that irked me was that I sat through those long ass of credits just to see that little part about the damn monkey??!! PLEASE! Its not like it was a major thing to have to see if its going to pertain to anything with the idea of the 2nd movie.

I called bubba when I got home and told him how the movie was and that for ONCE it would be something he might be interested in seeing since I've been going to the movies alone as of late (damn picky MEN!). I hope he does when he comes back next week or so, that way I can see it again.

YAY! Type O Negative tour update

*dances around the room* They are FINALLY coming to Dallas, they're finally coming to Dallas!! But am I the only one thats kinda shocked that they will be playing at Trees instead of Deep Ellum Live? Any of you on my friends list that know what I'm talking about, is there much of a differnce in clubs and space wise?

Case anybody didn't know the concert date its Sept 5 AND on a FRIDAY!!! *faints* I already called hubby to let him in on the news and see what he can do about taking off work that night as I will be doing too. If he can't, I still want to go but its the idea of going by myself that sucks. I had to do that when I saw NIN back in '00 but I met a few young punks who saw me sitting alone and took me with them to better seats. Plus you can't go wrong with a tix being $20 for a change. I so excited now!!! *bouncebounce*

MUAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I had a feeling at least ONCE I was right concerning Wolf's Rain. Last night I translated #25 and #26 and Darcia COMES BACK!!!!! I sooo can't wait to see what his role is in all of this and it seems like theres going to be somewhat of a face off with he and Jagara. *dances around the room*
