So I came across some more of the dub casting list and was quite surprised at who they got for this series. Even though toxictattoo posted the VA's names, I'm just adding more to it. Some I have heard of either their names or the characters they did. Keep in mind that the series I'm including is something I've seen or heard a bit of. I'm not putting the whole list in here. I'm sure you can look up their names and find out what else they did.



Harry (old) - Abe Lasser.
Credits = Teddy Bomber on Bebop, Hazanko (I think he was one of the bad guys?) on Outlaw Star.

Harry (young) - Tony Oliver. Also goes by the names: Rafael Antonio, Rafael Antonio Oliver, Rafael Oliver
Credits = Ethan on Last Exile (don't recall who Ethan was), Custodian; Witch on Witch Hunter Robin, Wolf's Rain (not given name)

Brandon - Ron Allen. Also goes by the names: Sparky Allen, Sparky Thornton (Kirk Thornton)

Wow, thats alot but at least I now know what to expect when I watch it. At least the voices won't be strangers to me now.


Here be the next cover for the Japanese dvd release this month. Pretty spiffy, yet creepy I must say.

Thanks! When I was transcribing the names from the DVD, I didn't have time to do searches for the voices. I knew that Bear Walken's voice sounded like Jet from CB, but when the name didn't exactly match up...well, I just didn't have time to do more research.

Guhguhguh...Brandon's voice is Hajime Saitoh from RK? Man...how did I miss that?

In some ways, I can pics him doing Bear's voice. I can't wait to actually hear it (should be getting the damn dvd in the mail this week). Though I'm sure it may take more than one viewing to get use to it all.

What character is that? I think the last eps I recall watching was when they were helping out at the circus, which was like 15'ish thru 20'ish.


No prob. I knew there had to be a list finally SOMEWHERE that had the dub cast and what each person did. Though I hope they update it soon when the other characters show up like Sherry, Brad Wong, Kanon (lee's bro), Cid, Richie, Gary, and whoever else I may be missing.

First off: WOW. I learned so much reading through this. I'm going to have to pick up the first DVD soon. Real soon. Like this weekend soon.

I had noooo idea Julia's VA (Melissa) did Caroline in "Bloodlust." Talk about WOW. I didn't know she was in ANYTHING else. And Cher/Robin doing Mika? *grin*

And let me say for the record: I totally KNEW Beau was gonna do Bear! Halfway into the series, when I heard this group got it, I was like, "It's gonna be Jet's voice. It's GONNA."

And whereas I love Lex Lang to bits and pieces, I'm not too sure how I feel about him voicing Bunji. I can picture him doing tall, lean (nearly thin) guys like Ginias and Sano, but a big-muscles type like Bunji? We'll have to wait and see I guess.

This cast is going to send me into VA fanatic ulcers. Havetobuyhavetobuyhavetobuy.

I never even thought about Jet's VA being Bear. I guess I really couldn't pic who would fit who's voice.

I agree about your thoughts about Lex doing Bunji. I can't see it either. Bunji has such a smoker's raspy voice, kinda like how Bunshichi is. Plus Bunji has that mean, badass loner type persona overall, just something that his jap VA did a really good job with.

I'm just anxious to hear more of the dub besides of that teaser we got on the GG dvd link. I just wonder who is going to do Sherry, Richie & Gary.

Thought of something. Whereas Dorothy Melendrez was a great Kaoru (RK) and Meryl (Trigun), I don't think she'd be a very good Sherry. But the groups tend to reuse their actors, so... Dorothy's probably up for the running.

Yeah it does wrack one's brain on wondering who might be doing who's voice. I just hope that Sherry's voice will be worth it cause they will have to speak in a young girl's voice when she first met Harry, and then later as they get older.
