I'm BACK!

Man oh man, what a weekend. Got back from AnimeFest about an hr or so ago and just living it up now being HOME with FREE food and my own comfy bed/pillow.

I won't do any write ups or pics just yet, I'm hoping to have all that done by the middle of this week.

But I will say that Steve Blum (Spike from Bebop), Beau Billingslea (Jet from Bebop), and Johnny Bosh (Vash & Kiba) were all wonderful, sweet, gracious ppl. I was so glad to see Afest get these guys to this con.

*looks at flist* OI VEY PPL! This is going to take at least a day and a half (maybe less) to catch up on things. Couldn't use the net at the hotel since the only service they provided was wireless and I do not have wireless ANYWHERE in my possession.

Till I get my pics up and posted, I'll just post the two teaser pics that were on Fansview. Plus sad as it sounds, me in my Kiba costume is probably the only pic I have of me in it since I was only wearing it Fri. No biggie I can always get hubby to take more pics at the house.

The Kiba wig needed a little work. (It looked brown and I generally think of Kiba has having black hair) but you got the rest of the outfit down. :)

I hope you had a good time. You will have to fill us all in because I really wanted to go but knew it wasn't in the cards.

Wigs are so hard to find what you are looking for. The wig didn't look that light when I bought it, its a shag wig, some dork that looks like Austin Powers was on the pic. Good brown and black wigs are hard to get. I wasn't sure if his was a dark brown or if it was actually black. I have some black hair spray somewhere around my closet, I'll have to experiment with it on the wig to see how it might blend in. Those damn bangs, just the tips of the wig hair would make my eyes water. Would like to try and have the wig styled the way it should be if at all possible.

It was an alright con, just something felt weird about it this yr.

Ohhh nyaaa!!!! The jacket fit so nicely! *wipes sweatdrop off head* I was so worried. The Kiba was good, like Babaca said...needed to be a little darker, but it worked. Nya Nya!

Glad your back! Listening to you talk about cons make me want to go back. :P

Course it fit nicely, I wouldn't tell you no lie ^_~. When I was catching up on 95-97, I kept thinking "man, her jacket is longer than mine." Then I realized I'm just short so its going to look that way to me. I'm quite pleased with it.

I have black hairspray somewhere around the house, I hope I can find it and see what I can't do to the wig to blend it in. As I told Barb, good wigs are hard to come by.

I think after this Afest, I just want to go to a con where I don't feel as if I'm getting jinxed on something. I don't know, this yr's con felt weird to me.

The con wasn't too bad, just something felt a little off to me, still can't place what it was.

Oh without a doubt Kiba was totally a breeze to wear. Probably the easiest costumes I have. Oh wait, I also have Ran from Weiss Kreuz that is pretty simple to wear as well.

I noticed that too. Though considering that my hair would probably be that color if not a bit darker, if I didn't highlight it.

Hmmmm.... May be Kiba's hair is black, but I like brown color best.

I do not know as call the Kiba's boots in English, but I'm crasy for this shoes *_____*

I thought in some ways that Kiba's hair was a dark brown, hence why I got the color of wig I did. But I do have black hairspray that I could highlight the wig with.

Kiba's shoes are called Converse "Chucks" sneakers. The name Chuck comes from Chuck Taylor, a basketball player from the 1970's I believe. I have a black pair and a blue pair.
