Finally got time this weekend to watch 99, 100, & the Movie Special.
#99 - Course some may have gripes about Konohamaru and how he is (I mean come on, he's only a little bratty kid!), but I still think he's adorable. Smart bugger too.
And the Sakura visiting/talking to Lee, so cute and endearing.
And Tsunade, not enough words to describe how much I love this woman. I was waiting for a smackdown to Konohamaru but I think she put the fear of the devil in him when she got through the room. *lol* Thats one way to scare a kid out of their bratty mode.
I was a bit confused when Konohamaru was helping the 3rd in his fighting gear. I first thought it was right before the main match and the fight with Orochimaru but I know it wasn't. One of the main reasons being, Kono was still wearing his helmet? (is that what you'd call that silver thing on his head?)
#100 - Man, seeing this animated is alot more emotional between Lee and Gai. But at least it has its many silly moments as well. And to me, I think Lee actually wasn't too bad of a cute kid when he was younger, before he went with that bowl cut hair do that is.
Again, Tsunade....is fucking hot. As I told Opie at Afest, I want my own Hokage hat too!!! (might have to look into actually making one now ^_____________^)

The Naruto Movie Special, was so weird to see and hear Naruto's seiyuu, the voice just doesn't go with her face. But F'N A!!!!!!!!!!!! I sooooo can't wait for this to be subbed, so please don't make us wait too long. I'm wondering if they will come out with the sub about the same amount of time that they have subbed the IY 3rd movie? Then again, pending on how fast they can get their hands on it and have it done ASAP. Would be nice to see something by Dec. if not the beginning of the yr.

wickedchild_md, you'll squee even more of that young Team 7 I had pics of, there is more of them posted at this site. Same with that very tall & awesome Kakashi.

Aside from the awesome kids that could be the real Team 7 as well as that tall Kakashi, the Neji could REALLY pass for the real thing too. I saw him in his reg. clothes and that long hair is totally real.

Ep. 99 was cute, but I did sort of scratch my head at Sandaime's appearance. Orochimaru makes a pointed comment about Sarutobi wearing his mourning clothes when they fight each other, as if he was expecting to die that day. So, seeing him in that sort of get up in that flash back, I got really thrown off. Then again, 99 is Filler, and filler doesn't seem to line up right with the manga at times.
Ep 100 was awesome. I loved seeing the Lee/Gai parts animated. And OMG the "fight" with Kakashi. That was awesome to see animated. My only beef with Ep 100 is at the end with Tsunade's inauguration. You see Sasuke with team 7. If you recall the Manga, he remains in bed, staring off into space like a dolt until he sees Naruto, then he goes bug nuts. Which is why I am /not/ looking forward to Filler Ep. 101. With Kakashi's mask. Darn it, Sasuke's not supposed to be out of bed! I think they watned to animate the manga special, but their timing's off. Le Bah.
er... enough of my gripes! ^^;;; Sorry. Oh, and dude, that Tall Kakashi is CoralSnake's RIVAL! (sorry random DA moment)

I agree with the timing of some of the episodes and while they're entertaining and funny, I'm more anxious to get on with the storyline. Sometimes I think it's harder when you know what's going to happen because it makes you more anxious to see it.
And tall Kakashi, wow, he's just too awesome as well as the young kids playing team 7. Just really incredible.

I agree. Though I think they believe that if they would keep going with the storyline, they'd catch up to the manga, hence all the fillers and changes they've been doing. But hell, they still have a bit of ways to go before they catch up.
Sometimes I think it's harder when you know what's going to happen because it makes you more anxious to see it.
I feel the same way.
Out of all the Team 7 cosplayers out there, I think those kids were the best. Its not often you can actually get kids to immitate the characters when it comes to looks.

And tall Kakashi...wowsa. He's awesome, with the red eye and everything. That one Neji dude looks familiar for some reason. *shrugs* But I agree that he made and awesome Neji, though he just needs the white eyes. ^_^
Of course there was no better Tsunade than you. Haha! Take that wannabe Tsunades! Not only can Beck make one kickass Alucard, she can be one kickass Tsunade as well.
And you definitely need the Hokage hat.
I can't comment on eps 99 and 100 because I'm barely going to be watching 64 and 65. ^_^ I'm catching up though so huzzah!!!

Kakashi kinda looked familiar to me *lol* though I can't quite pic him what he looks like in reg clothes. Yeah, I agree that all Neji needs are those eyes. Maybe he looked familiar to you cause he was in my Naruto Akon pics from this yr.
Of course there was no better Tsunade than you. Haha! Take that wannabe Tsunades! Not only can Beck make one kickass Alucard, she can be one kickass Tsunade as well.

My friend who helped me out alot recently on making my Hellsing costume better, I think she might be able to help me in regards to the Hokage hat ^________^
