HOLY SHIT! Anyone else get creeped out by this eps??? I got chills and goose bumps all over. What freaked me out the most was that radio transmission. Man, just what the fuck is with this island and what made that plane crash. I'm also anxious to see what kind of ppl the surviors are and just what the hell is going to happen.
GAH! I can't wait till next Wed.

-Sean, too, was muchly intrigued by the radio deal. He picked up on that during the previews last week and was a bit disappointed that they didn't explain it further. Curiouser and curiouser.
-I was surprised to see that the pretty gal was the prisoner on the plane. Makes her character much more interesting, but it looks as though things are gonna heat up for her soon.
-I was disappointed that the polar bear (?!?) didn't eat the redneck asshole or the princess gal.
-That Arab dude is hot!
-Can't figure out the Chinese guy. I'd like for him to be a sympathetic character *cough*Asianfetish*cough* but that's not looking very likely. Of course, he did try to feed people. I just hope those sea urchins don't turn out to be poisonous.
-Oh, I love that big dude. He rocks!
Sean and I have been discussing what the deal is with the island. I think it's some kind of dimensional portal, where people and things from different times and places are thrown together. Sean had some theory that involved time displacement that, frankly, I didn't understand, so I just nodded and pretended to look as if I had a clue.

Yeah that Arab dude does tend to grow on me. That Chinese guy has had me wondering since day one. Between the way he treats his woman and the urchin thing. (I almost forgot what it was he was trying to serve them).
heheheh that big dude is pretty good. Just hope nothing bad happens to him. I at first thought he was going to be a pussy and chicken out on things in the 1st eps but he's proved me wrong.
And I just realized now that it makes sense as to how ole girl came upon the doc. like that in the 1st eps. Though I take it from the place where he woke up from and separated from the rest, that he was flown out of the plane and landed at that spot? What also kinda creeped me out regarding next week was when that black woman told the doc that her hubby is still alive (makes me wonder what will come of that).
Just a tad with that whole dimensional thing, is that it would remind me of a bit of Stephen King's "Langoliers". The plane flew into a strange portal/pocket of time and how things were totally whacked on that end of the spectrum. (not sure if you read it or seen the show) I just hope its going to be something worth the suspense and not something to where your like "oh man, how lame."

I think the Chinese guy and the redneck need to get eaten, and something needs to happen to the sunbathing blonde girl. I'm happy she could speak French, but doing your nails at the scene of a plane crash? Bad taste. And for some reason, I think the food the Chinese guy was preparing was poisonous, and now that the baby's kicking, something's gonna happen to her.
I'm actually enjoying not trying to figure out what's going to happen next, and to just sit and jump and get jittery and react to it without thinking too much :) I know that once I have episodes in my possession though, that I'll be jumping around in the earlier episodes, trying to figure out the foreshadowing.
And yes, the Arab guy is hot.

Yeah the Chinese guy does make me wonder what he could be up to, though I don't like his attitude towards his woman. Redneck dude has it coming though I wonder what's behind his character. And the other chick, OMG! I sooo wanted something bad happen to her or if I were her bro, probably slap her across the face a good one to make her open her eyes.
That is weird how all of a sudden the baby moved once she ate that. Hell, I'm surprised she made it this far. They did show her sitting next to someone on the plane right when she had her flashback?

Without a doubt. As I was saying above to the other comment, just for some reason, that radio transmission really freaked me out and I don't normally get freaked out like that. I had such chills that I had to take an overly hot shower just to get warm again (since it was convenient that I was getting ready for work when Lost was over). I think it was between the dude on the radio calling out those #'s along with JUST how long/old that transmission is. I mean how could they pick that up or what made that signal come up?
Its weird how they kinda looked like after Charlie flushed the toilet, is when the plane got all out of whack *lol* I'm curious too about the black lady telling the doc that her hubby was or is still alive. Not sure if you know but isn't the guy that plays the doctor the older bro from the show Party of 5?
That Arab guy did grow on me. I guess cause I wasn't really focused or paying much attention but after the 2nd eps, you can't help but not to.
