I may be dorky for acting like this but this was most excellent!! *does air guitar ala Bill/Ted* This came from the last part of vol.10 to the Beck manga. Another thing about the artist, he came up with his own renditions to album covers and spoofed it with his characters. I know about the majority of the covers though some may or may not be from covers either. Once I'm done reading what is out of the manga, I'll go back and collect all those spoof covers and see if anyone on my flist can name them. Finally something neat that is done to the name I use and not only that, but I wear a lot of black too *lol* For those that don't know, this is a spoof cover to AC/DC's "Back in Black".

I'll just put the stuff about my appointment in the cut.
As of late, I haven't been quite feeling like myself. On top of that, for like a week and a half last month, I had these major dizzy spells to where I'd be walking down the hallway at home and felt like a stumbling drunk. I couldn't walk straight and had to hold onto the wall. Sometimes if I sat down, my head felt like it was spinning. Course it never fails that when I told bubba that if it didn't go away that I was going to make an appt. By then, the spells kinda simmered down and weren't as bad as before so I didn't bother. I'm just thankful that I didn't have those spells while driving or at work, just at home. Then later and recently, I just felt pretty blah, not really depressed but just not all there and I did something so totally stupid at work that it even had my super questioning my well being. Hence why I'm glad I also took Fri night off work and was happy that I could get a doc appt Mon morning.
I knew they were going to do it but I HATE getting needles stuck in me. I don't mind shots but being jabbed and having something taken out gives me the heebee jeebees. This time my arm isn't as purple as last time but still gross to me. I gave the, hmmmm I guess they are a nurse or intern, the peep you see before the doctor, the run down of how I've been feeling along with my dizziness. After she got my blood, she took me to the one room that had this funky machine and kinda forced this object in my ears (kinda looks like that ear checker light thingy when they look in it). But this thing beeped in your ear and when she went to do my left, she shoved it in there saying "the ear canal must be a bit smaller than the other" well fuck, doesn't mean you have to hurt me in the process. What it did was to check and see if there was any fluid in them and gave a print out reading.
When it came time for the doc, we went over how I've been feeling and such and for the time being, I can chalk it up on not having depression or anxiety. They are also going to test my thyroid when they check my blood sample since I heard from a few ppl who had that problem, they had the same symptoms I've been feeling. But I also have a feeling that it'll turn up fine.
So right now, they found two things with me. One is I have a slight UTI, which came as a shock to me since I had no symptoms of it, and believe me, I know what one feels like. I had a very painful one as a little kid and I also think thats where my dislike of cranberry juice came into affect but now its not too bad to drink (whenever I feel like drinking some that is). And the other is that I have fluid in my right ear, hence why the dizzy spells I had. Lord knows how long that fluid might have been in my ear, I've been having slight ear problems in that ear for the past 2 yrs now (just never bothered me that much to have it checked out). When the doc was checking in my ears again with that light, she told me about how I have alot of scar tissue in my right ear. I never knew that when you have an ear infection, thats the result of it later on. One thing that I have to CURSE my genes (I blame dad's side of the family on that one) is the ear infections. All 3 of us kids had them though of course I was the only one who had it the worse. One yr I had it that bad, I had it in both ears and was nearly deaf for two weeks. Thank god as we got older, it stopped. Even my nephews have them too. I recall my cousins having ear infections (my dad's sister's family) though of course, THEY could afford tubes while us kids had to suffer since we couldn't afford it.
In fact, dummy me should've went to the doc's when I got back home from PA this past X-mas since I had a really terrible cold and my ear never popped when the plane landed. It took about 3 weeks for it to finally pop and till mom said something, I never thought that I could've had an ear infection that time and the pressure of being in a plane made it worse.
But yeah, I would like to see a pic of the scar tissue that builds up in your ear. Sounds gross yet funky. So paging nurse
stella195, do you think there are pics out there somewhere of scar tissue of the inner ear? *lol* Hell anyone for that matter, I wouldn't know where to look.
As of now I have antibiotics to take twice a day and these special ear drops twice a day. And then in two weeks, I go back in to see how my ear is doing and discuss my blood test if there is anything to discuss. When I went to pick up my prescription, I was thinking that the drops were going to come in a bottle but I got this box with these little tube samples. Looking at the tube, you'd think that "I paid $20 for this??!!" (I'm sure that was the most expensive one, the other was $10), but I think the amount of liquid in that tube is just the right amount that should go in your ear. Though it could be worse, we wouldn't have insurance to cover everything. Thank god bubba has a better insurance plan than what the cheap assholes at my work have. They really fucked us over on their plan about two yrs ago and I know a good bit of ppl who aren't happy with it either. Anything the company can do to save a fucking dollar, shit, its not like they are going bankrupt!! Having ear problems like this, is when it makes you REALLY appreciate your hearing. After that bad ear ache I had as a kid and even when I put those drops in my ear it kinds blocks out the sound in that ear, freaks me out. I can't imagine what its like being deaf, its scary.
Plus every now and then my ear will start to itch on the inside and it sucks that I can't scratch it!!!
Dear Mother Nature,
Could you PLEASE make up your damn mind!!! Its SUPPOSED to be FALL not early SUMMER!! We should not be having 90 degree weather again. Could you please have it back to the 70's/80's and stay that way till winter rolls around? kthanxbaibai

I'm also working on a community regarding the series, and yet I'm still asking myself why am I doing this *sigh*. But I love music and enjoy Beck that I can't help it and I could care less if it doesn't draw in a crowd since ppl are picky about animation styles (which is usually a good thing in my eyes). I won't announce it till I set everything up.

I LOVE the Beck In Black logo, lol! You *need* a shirt like that.

Ain't that the shiznit!! I freaked when I saw it and was like "this is too cool not to post." That would be neat if I could get that into a shirt. I'd have to look into that later on.

Some ppl might find it boring since it involves ALOT of band and the music industry but since I'm into it all, course I'm digging it. And I'm also working on a community for it, which I have NO CLUE WHY I'm doing this for *kicks self in ass*, I told myself I didn't really want to do anymore fandoms or be a babysitter but oh well. When something gets into ya, ya gotta do something about it. Though it might not take off, meaning the series overall but thats fine with me, less worry and hassle, hence why I like the small turnout of Gungrave in my community. I'll pimp the comm. once I get everything set up.
Well its my stupidity for waiting this long to go to the doc's about this, especially my ear. I should've went 2 yrs ago when I was first having problems. Weird how its only my right ear though. In some ways, aside from what I was already diagnosed with, I'm hoping that something does show in my blood test just so I know what's been making me feel so blah. Then again I hope it does turn out alright and just let it be the ear thing that's been fucking me up.
I really wanna see a pic of the scar tissue but I guess I'd have to do some deep searching online though I bet it might be hard to come up with something.
Thanx chickie. I think I would rather go through any kind of problems regarding a cold and what not as long as it didn't affect my throat, nose, and ears (though funny how all 3 affect one another). Stupid body system!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so fucked when I went home for X-mas, had problems with all 3 (well not so much with my ears till I went back to TX).
*big hugs*

As for the manga, you can snag the downloads here:
http://www.mangascreener.com/
But if for some reason, it doesn't download for you or what not, let me know and I'll still burn it on disc. Plus I think it was advertised in one of the comm's, you can find the download for the single regarding some of the music thats on the anime. Good shit for them singing in english.

May be I something missed in your diary. But I begin to worried if I not see of post some time. I are very nervous lady ^^"

Re: Beck is Back!!! *_*
Awww...thanx chickie, I guess it does seem out of place if I don't post anything in a bit. I know I usually am quiet on the weekends only cause I'm at home and do stuff around the house.
Thanx for the well wishes too, I think the ears and the eyes are two major things that a person should never take lightly. Hence my stupidity on not getting my ear checked out sooner when I was having problems with it. I hate putting these drops in my ear cause it takes a good while for my ear to get back into normal hearing mode. I'm just surprised my hearing hasn't gone bad considering all the loud rock concerts I use to go to. Though it wouldn't surprise me by the time I get old, I'll be needing a hearing aid, especially for all the problems I had as a kid with my ears.
Well... I have problems with mine ear in the spring too. How I understand you!
Eeep! Sorry to hear that. I know the only times I have ear problems now is if I have a really bad cold or if I have water in it that didn't drain properly. I think part of what caused this problem is swimming in lake water, which to think about it is nasty and dirty. I can just imagine the germs and bacteria that is in that water. Hence also why I don't dip my head or get my hair wet if I'm out in the lake. When I was little and had those really bad earaches, they get that bad, I could do nothing but just sit there and cry. Even the cheapass medication my doc would give me didn't help (which were ear drops).
How bad does your ear get in the spring? Minor or major pain?
*big hugs*

I guess I should cherish this humidity STILL though the weather can't seem to make up its mind here either. I think they are calling for another "cold" front soon.

Interesting adventure you had at the doctor's there. Hope you're doing a bit better now...
It ain't pleasant business though, messing with your ear. I don't get infections per se, but whenever I get a fever it goes "to my ear". Which means decreased hearing and overall discomfort until the fever goes away.
