To the music nuts on my flist

Has anyone heard or liked anything by Breaking Benjamin? I saw their video one night last week and recall hearing it on the radio from time to time and I actually like it. Considering there hasn't been squat here lately when it comes to the music scene that is good. The song they play is "So Cold" and I had the band's name written down to remind myself to check out some of their other songs which I did download some this morning.

I see that they had an album before back in '02 but I'm more familiar with the new one. Some songs are pretty good, just not sure if it'd be worth buying the whole cd though. I'm actually listening to them more than once to get a feel for my likeness, I'll think about caving in later.

*snerks* Yeah, I can see where you read it like that, after seeing this, I was seeing it too. Though it could be true, I was kinda looking for my muses nuts *lol* but it seemed to have come back to me since it got me writing again.

They've played alot of shows in Philly and are sorta-considered a local band (they are from Wilkes-Barre). They are pretty good; some of their songs remind me of Tool a bit and you know how much of a Tool fan I am. But I haven't bought anything because I'm really really cheap but if I did spend money on cds, I'd invest in them.

Wow, I didn't realize they were from there. How FUNNY!! When I first heard the song, I thought too it was Tool. In fact, when I told my sis about this band or just recent music, she was like "well I know there are two bands that sound like Tool that irritate me" so I guess she doesn't know yet just who BB was *lol*

oh man i love that song! for some reason it reminds me of FMA... no particular characters but jus the angsty feel of it... i haven't heard any of the other stuff but methinks i should check it out eh? i wonder if they have any concerts coming up around here...

Now that you mention it, I can see it.

I think you'd like them, I was pretty pleased with those other songs I downloaded. I guess for me, it just takes a few listens to in order to get the feel of if I like something or not.

And since I've been totally spacing out hard core lately, Happy Belated Bday! I can't keep up with the dates anymore since time flies by so damn fast >__

i went to B&N today and listened to the clips they have of all the songs from the BB album... definitely very cool... they have this one slow, guitar based one that i really wanna hear in full... i think it was called 'break my fall'?

have u by any chance heard the new papa roach stuff? the one they're playing on the radio is called 'getting away with murder'... soooo coool... i'm so glad they're still alive and singing...

oh and thanx for the b-day wishes! i totally kno what u mean about keeping up with dates... i'm always disoriented when a new month starts.. ^^
