Kinda weird to see it not only in dub form but on tv so soon. Its like "wow, I just got done watching the series not too long ago." Not bad so far, its going to take a bit to get use to it. I'm just anxious to hear how Roy and Riza, and of course the others will sound. Was wondering when they were going to play the OP theme since I had a feeling they wouldn't stick with the ED song.

Question:
Did it ever say or did Roy ever say why he was in the area the time when the accident happened to Ed and Al? Can't recall.

I see that AS is also airing Wolf's Rain and Witch Hunter Robin weeknights come Mon night.

Guess I'll stomach it and watch Gungrave on Tech TV next. (still can't believe they edit THAT!) Geee! eps 5 & 6 tonight ^__^

I know it had something to do with finding Ed and Al's dad. They sent letters to people who knew their father. Roy got an address from said letter(s) and went to poke around.

I don't care if it's a spoiler but just what happened in the beginning?

Yeah and just what happened to them. Al looked like he was turned inside out.

They were trying to transmute their mother back to life with their alchemy. But when doing something like that, something has to be sacrificed, in which the boys didn't seem to know that. Hence why Al's body was taken and Ed lost his arm and leg. And the project was pretty much a complete failure, a pretty much "all we lost for nothing!" That creature you saw was supposed to be their "mother project" gone wrong.

How many episodes are there? I'm hoping CN shows the whole series without screwing around with it's schedule.

Was it me or was some of the blood edited out? I guess Ed's voice is okay but they did a really good job with Al. It has enough childlike innocence to it that it's very similar to the seiyuu's.

I went back to check on the sub, it seems like they still kept the amount of blood shown for Ed in the dub. I know the blood was the one thing I was watching to see what they would've done. I might have to tape the re-run at 2am just to see.

I know Vic said that was one thing that Funi kept to and that was getting a young kid for Al. He thinks the boy is 12 *gives Funi a gold star for Effort.*

I stayed up to watch the 2nd running and it seemed like they kept all the blood in unless there was supposed to be more shooting out of his arm. But I know his leg was oozing with it.

How many seasons did Kids in the Hall run? Comedy Central finally had the show on for an hr this morning and made me miss watching it when they use to show it more. I'm debating about getting the dvds.

The Kids in the Hall was on the air for five seasons (1989-1995). The first two seasons are available on dvd box sets.

I'm looking forward to hearing Roy's dub. It would make the series for me if Brian Drummond did him. Roy's supposed to be charming and girls fall in love with him easily. But don't mind me, I'm in love with that voice.

I don't know about Brian doing Roy's voice. I can't pic it actually and I feel ashamed for saying that too *shiftyeyes*. I wish I would've prodded Mike McFarland at Afest as to who did Roy cause Mike helped out on the writing or directing, can't remember. But the girl that does Winry is a sweet girl. I wish I would've met the 12yr old boy who does Al. Vic was telling us in the dealers room that he heard the kid was going to visit since Vic never met him.
