A run down of stuff

- The Punisher really isn't too bad of a movie. I heard some mixed reviews about it but I found it was decent to watch and thats not only cause of Thomas Jane looking super sexy HOT! *shiftyeyes* I hope to cap some scenes from the dvd this coming weekend if I have the time. *melts*

I thought of this ever since I saw previews of the movie when it first came out but watching the movie made me think of my previous thought more now. In some ways, The Punisher reminds me of Gungrave and if you know anything of Gungrave, you might agree or just think I'm on crack. John Travolta's character reminded me of Harry or at least Crazy!Harry. Plus some of the poses that Jane did with his guns when shooting the bad guys reminds me of Brandon. Such as::

Then I laughed when I heard that Castle's (T.Jane) wife was named Maria ^_~

I'm glad they didn't hook up Rebecca Romijn and Thomas Jane's characters in the movie cause it just wouldn't have felt right, would've been rushed and out of place.

- UGH! I didn't think that Gantz #20 was going to already start the upsetting scenes *wibbles*

- Was a bit disappointed in BECK #5 especially near the end. Talk about a waste of animation, they could've used half of that time to animate other parts instead of wasting it on them singing in the pool. PLUS I was pissed that they gave Saitou-san a damn blow up Cheshire cat instead of the blow up sex doll that was in the manga, its more FUNNY that way with the sex doll!!!!!!!!!! And whats with replacing the Beatles with a made up band name?? I find that Ryu speaks better Engrish than what Maho does. And I'm liking Chiba more, just wish that #1. they will show him more soon and #2. I want to hear him sing!!!!

- I also got around to updating the Japanese Gungrave dvd and vhs release covers that you can see at gun_grave.

- I will admit my guilty pleasure and want to see the Spongebob movie but only if someone would pay my way. I won't waste my money on it at the theater. Plus I STILL want to see Saw damn it!!!

- AHHHHHHH!!! I so want THIS!! and at a great price too!!! If it weren't for me telling bubba I want the Outlaw Star dvd boxset for X-mas, this would be 2nd on my list. NOW if only Trigun would do this too, I'd be a happy camper. But since I don't see myself collecting any Trigun yet till late next yr or next yr's X-mas, maybe something might come up for that by then. I won't hold my breath though.

- Hopefully I'll get my Gungrave #3 dvd in the mail this weekend since it was finally shipped out.

- Got a frustrating yet sad email from my best friend back home. I love her dearly and so wish I could be there for her right now and just beat the shit out of her so called "husband". Truthfully, if I were still living back home and she weren't married, we'd either be living together or I'd be willing to go Bi just for her. We did weird shit that wasn't even sexual yet still freaked some ppl out *lol*. Though not being mean when I say this but I truly saw this coming ever since our Sr. yr of high school when he got her knocked up and then later when they finally got married. And knowing him as long as I have, the stuff he's doing now just really didn't overly surprise me. Just does the typical things that some married guys do when it comes to the internet, chatting and getting chummy with chicks online they don't know and HIDE what goes on from their WIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

- WAAAAAAAAAIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!! :( :( I found out late that Marilyn Manson is coming to the area on tour Dec.8th and I wanna go to it soooooooo bad!!!!! I haven't been to a concert of his since Dec.'00.

Even though having a cold for any type of day sucks but at least you could take care of what you had. My whole X-mas vacation at home was ruined cause of that horrible flu I had and it never fails that I got it like 2 days after I was there.

THANK YOU for the Trigun cds! I got them in the mail Friday. I see what you mean about the 2nd one not being up to par as the first. I really didn't see the need as to why they made the 2nd one for. Just sounds weird to hear the characters in Japanese, especially Vash. I like the dub so much more now.

Would you like anything in return? I know you dl anime yourself but in case I might have something you don't or would like to see, let me know. Or if you'd like to hear what the Gungrave OSTs sound like I can make you copies of them. The same guy who did the Trigun OSTs, did Gungrave's too. Though both Gungrave OSTs are all music, no dialogue breaks like the 2nd Trigun. I love both of them and can't decide which GG cd I like (even though they are both good). Even the game OST is pretty good too.

Looking at the Punisher pictures you posted is making me want to rent the movie tomorrow. The first pic does remind me a lot of Brandon. They're already on Gantz 20. I'm so behind on the anime it's not even funny. I've been keeping up with the manga though and the suspense is killing me!

*Looks at price of Escaflowne boxset and falls out* Arg! It pays to wait. It really does. That's a great deal. I bought the DVDs as they were released and dammit it's a good thing I love that series!

I'm sorry to hear about your best friend's husband acting up. He should consider himself very lucky you don't live in the same state.

The Punisher and The Crow reminds me of GG, both storylines would work well for GG. In fact, I see alot of GG in the Crow. (lovelovelove that movie no matter how much it makes me cry when I watch it, especially knowing that Brandon *lol* was killed during the making of it). I think that will forever be a mystery as to who put those real bullets in that gun, this goes into the files with the JFK stuff, never will know. Though it would be neat if eventually SOMEONE would speak the truth about JFK, I mean what would it matter now? I'm sure as to who all were behind it are either really really old or dead so they can't prosecute them.

Yeah its a bit of a tear jerker to see those scenes animated in Gantz, sucks so fucking bad.

I agree about Esca, the only thing I have of it (aside from the VHS tapes) is the movie on dvd. Hopefully I can get that series next yr.

My friend's hubby has been an asshole ever since they were dating. I'm just surprised that their marriage lasted THIS long. I want to contact her so bad but #1. I don't like talking on the phone very much anymore, #2. if I did call her, I'd have to try and do it when he wasn't at home (which with him, I'm sure it won't be too hard) and #3. want to email her back about everything she told me but can't really say too much in it cause she's afraid that he might access her account.
