I'm sitting here listening to NIN's "The Fragile" cd and doing naughty things with my gummy bears. WOW! Who knew......just who knew? *lol*

I'll do a write up later regarding my outcome of my dental appointment. Christ, just take me out back and put a bullet in my head, put me down like an old horse. I'm only 27 yet with the ear stuff and now my teeth, I feel so much older. Can I PLEASE trade my body for a newer model?

I've been wanting to do this every time I looked at the date but forgot. Anyways, it's hard to believe that its been a year since I created the gun_grave community. Shit, where did the time go?

I want to give a huge thanx and a hearty welcome to all those that have joined, participated, or are lurking (whether you have joined or not). I'm glad that a few more fans are coming out of the woodwork and letting yourselves be heard. Even if its just to say "hi" or a question, its all good.

Speaking of Gungrave, I think I came up with a plausible idea for you jurty regarding you know what ^_~. Just keep your eyes open for my email tomorrow. I should just start writing a bit of the script to jot the ideas I have going on in my overly lazy, overly burnt out brain. ^_________^

I was hoping to at least watch one of the movies mom sent me for tomorrow BUT the Cowboy game is on so that means, I'll be hiding in my compy room while bubba and whoever from his family sit in the living room and veg out on it. Or I could start fluffing out the X-mas tree bubba set up for me yesterday and work on decorating that. Bubba also set up the train to go around the tree and it was so funny watching Smokey (the newer cat) eyeing it up, probably seeing what part he can chew on when we aren't looking.

Oh, yes, we must have dinner ready BEFORE 3pm tomorrow cause god forbid that we are eating when the game is on -_______________-

Well it turns out that it wasn't bad as I thought it was going to be regarding the game. I went to bed not long after dinner and slept just about all evening. When I woke up around 6'ish, my nephew was the only one watching the game, bubba and his sister (and crew) were in the hot tub. Shocked the hell out of me since I thought he'd want to watch the game.

Uh oh about the dental appointment. It's good that you know what's going on so it can be fixed. God I hate the dentist.

I just want to say that I really enjoy the gun_grave community. I remember after seeing some of the show needing to find someplace to talk about it! We've had lots of great discussions there.

The dentist isn't so bad though I think the worse of it all was when I got my upper wisdom teeth out. Now that was a pisser.

I'm so glad to hear you have enjoyed the community. Indeed we have had great discussions. To this day, I still got things that boggle my mind that I need to express out in the open but never get the chance to. I know sometimes I bring stuff up to Wardove and she can analyze things better than I can O___O. She's come up with some great thoughts (good thing I saved them too) I knew that you and I were going to hit it off from the start, not sure if it was your icons or just the stuff you posted about. But I knew I couldn't go wrong with having you onboard ^_~

Writing in present tense is a bitch. Though I done it before a long time ago, it was no problem but now as I don't get the time to write as much, I felt so rusty. I never would have done it if it weren't for my friend's help.

My friend who betaed the fic thought I should do a follow up but I told her that they kinda cover that aspect of it in the beginning of eps.6. Though it does seem like my fic could have a follow up but not sure of how or what. Just wish there were either more het writers or normal writers for the series. I feel like I'm the only one out there *lol*

I might have something special in the works regarding a new fic for GG. I talked to Jurty and see if she wanted to collaborate on drawing something for a fic or if she wanted to do a GG dj like she did with her Trigun ( http://www.jurty.h1.ru/manga.htm ). She loves the idea and wanted me to write something focusing on Brandon and Bunji's friendship. I came up with an interesting background, just hope I can write everything that I want.

Yeah, the gungrave community is one of the reasons why I became sorta active on LJ. I had made an account but didn't use it much. It's really nice having someone to talk to about different ideas that come to mind. You're one of the nicest people that I've met online and I've really enjoyed our conversations.

Whoo! A new fanfic! I have so much stuff to catch up on. There isn't much GG fanfic out there (especially het stuff). I've never written anything in the present tense. I've slipped up a few times and switched tenses but that doesn't count. I can definitely see where that wouldn't be the easiest thing to write. Hopefully in a few more months the fanbase will be a little larger. It's just amazing seeing how much the community has grown. When I first joined I think there were like 16-17 members, now there's almost 50!

A Brandon and Bunji focused DJ/fic would be fun read. The interaction between those two was funny and sweet. I can't wait to see how your collaboration turns out.

And its funny cause I told my older sis about what I need done and she was like "I had a root canal as well." I was like O___O I did not know that. Especially to the tooth that she had worked on, perhaps I'll tell the tale in another entry about the blondness of what she did to her tooth.

Awwww...*sniffles* I feel so special now! I STILL have things that pop in my head from time to time that I really need to work on posting there about it, even though I won't get much reaction about it since its like dead again. I was on a GG yahoo group but that was dead too so I left it, plus I don't even mess with ML's anymore. The ones I'm still on, I'm just too lazy to drop off.

I'm all for the goofyness, as long as ppl know how to take a joke. Can't have a stick up your ass forever.

There really isn't much for fics ANYWHERE for the series. I still feel like I'm the only normal/het writer for it, which I guess its all good but I want to see some other good writers take the chance on writing something. Wardove wrote up a little ditty in Brandon's POV that she showed me, I gotta get on her ass to go over it again and fix things and post the damn thing! Even that is depressing too, though thats one thing you can't get out of regarding the series. *sigh* And to think I was never the kind to really write angst or depressing shit, you can't help it with this and there was no way I wasn't going to let it get me down and not write.

I think thats what my earlier problem was with that new fic, I kept switching tenses and till I got it down as to NOT do that, I almost wanted to give up writing it.

I tell ya, these GG amvids will be the death of me regarding plot bunnies. When I was making copies of the recent new vids for some peeps to send with their cards, there were some clips that got the bunny chomping *sighs and tries to shoo it away*

I'm glad that you still feel or have hope regarding the fandom in the future. Me? I still really don't see it getting much more bigger than what it "is". (and even that isn't much since I'm like the only one posting stuff) GG isn't getting much recognition, I barely see it mentioned or ads for the dvds in any of the anime mags, aside from the issues of Newtype that did have those articles in it. I don't even see ppl on others LJ mention the name, not even the Trigun peeps. What is wrong??!!!!! Even when the subs were coming out, hardly anyone jumped on it. Everyone got so gung ho on FMA, PoT, Naruto, and Bleach. It even disappoints me that those I sent GG to, only, hell, not even HALF of them watched it. Or if they did, they didn't tell me what they thought. I'm really disappointed.

As for the comm, I agree. When I noticed the #'s I was like "wow!". Though recently, the #'s went down again. But its still something compared to the early days, thats for sure.

I came up with another B/B fic as a X-mas gift for Jurty (even though she wanted something illustrated) that takes place right before Bunji dies and he reflects on something that Brandon gave him in the past. I'm hoping to have it done before X-mas since I don't plan on getting too deep into it.
