Is it me or do they not make lighters like they use to? You can have that sucker jacked up to the highest setting and STILL get a tiny flame. Then if you DO find a half decent lighter, right before its even empty, the damn thing doesn't want to light cause something broke off somewhere inside.
*sighs* This past week, I lost track of time so quickly, I couldn't believe that it was Friday already. On top of that, its already the 4th of Dec., before you can say or even learn how to spell Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious

herophelia last night. So if you happen to see this Opie, I will try and call you before I go to bed Sat morning to see if you are free for Sunday.

Bubba went to a structure fire Thurs afternoon and came home later that evening with his dress clothes soaked in sweat and burn blisters on his arm and hand. Even though he had his fire fighting gear on, part of his helmet melted as well as the flashlight that is on it and he still got burnt through his gear since he was the lead person in front of the fire hose. Then he sits there and just pokes and jabs at the blisters (which I guess its good to let the fluid out) and doesn't let himself heal up normally. He has this icky burn scar inside his bicep cause he kept picking at the scabs when it was trying to heal.
Also, wish us luck that bubba gets this better job for the same company. He had to go in Thurs morning to take some testings in math, comprehension, word perfect and some other compy programs. He needs to get away from what he's working with now, he gets stressed out and they fuck their employees over. At least with this new job, not only does it sound better, but will jump up a pay grade.

Talked to my older sis for nearly 2hrs on the phone Thurs morning. After I got off the phone with her, I called her back a few mins later cause I forgot something, and STILL stayed on for another 20mins.
Since mom is hard to buy for for any holiday, Trace decided to get mom a new stove since her's finally went kaput. That will be her gift from Trace and bubba and I. She said to just send her whatever we thought we wanted to help cover the bill (since its only $350) and I asked her if she asked my middle sis Steph to help pay. For those that recall, I made a gripe entry awhile back about my tight-wad sister who thinks nothing but for herself. So the conversation with Trace went like this:
Me: Did you ask Steph?
T: Nope. She asked me what we were getting mom and I told her. She was going to chip in till Brian told her "No." Brian told her why they don't want her money and how she treated mom that one X-mas or on any holiday that she never gets mom anything.
M: What did she say or her reaction?
T: Nothing much, she just rolled her eyes.
M: Oh geez.
Then Trace jokingly chewed my ass out about how we hardly decorated for X-mas around our house. I gave my reason and then threatened me that once they FINALLY come down for a visit, that she'll have to take over and make up our house. I told her awhile back that we'll put her ass on a Greyhound and she can be our interior decorator, she's got the talent for it.
We talked about her birthday coming up which she'll be 35, then covered it up saying she'll be 30 *lol*, then griped about getting old. I got on the subject about my age then lost track of how old I am *blonde moment*. I guess even though I'm 27 (eek!), I still feel as if I'm 18 or 20 and cause of feeling and thinking like that, it makes me feel that young that I could care less what my real age is. I guess cause I don't dwell on it so much.
She also took the boys to see the Spongebob movie the other day and liked it, (okay, so we are Spongebob freaks), said that she would like to see it again, this time without the kids so she can watch all of it, and told me how certain things are so made for grown ups that kids wouldn't even understand. That I do believe, its probably why I like watching it. Not only that, you know damn well that stoners and the like watch it too cause it gives off that certain special affect that Adult Swim does.

Have the fire dept.'s x-mas party Sat night, another one sometime this month elsewhere, AND I found out that we have off on X-mas Eve only cause since the holiday falls on a weekend, we get the day before off. They must be ill!

Started reading a book again, a book that I've been wanting to re-read for so long cause I liked it that much. I started Rose Madder by Stephen King and I get so into that book that I don't want to stop reading! I get so into it that my eyes will dry up cause of not blinking much. My sis is after me to re-read the Dark Tower series again since its done and I have all the books but its hard to say when I'll get the mood to do that. I also want to re-read Eyes of the Dragon by King cause thats another good book I enjoy by him.

It's another slow night at work, should work on finishing replying to an email and try to work out on how I want to start this gift fic for someone. I need to catch up on some recent anime eps, that can wait till later, I'm in no hurry to watch whats come out.
Though I do want to watch some more Gungrave I have on my laptop but I get pretty upset from eps. 13,14 and random eps after those. I guess I should watch certain eps regardless, so I can get a grasp on this new fic.

I've never seen the show, and my only contact with it was the fish tank decorations that my work carried. So my bf convinces me to go with him and some friends, cause it'll be a good movie. We end up being surrounded by small children, all kicking the seats and talking. But they quiet down when the movie starts, except to scream along with the songs, and say all the lines two seconds before the character does. >.<;;
Half way through the bf apologizes, promises to watch any chick flick I want, and says that he's even closer to not wanting kids now, so some good came out of it :) It's probably good in half hour stints, but movie length? Whee! I hope you have fun though :)
I know I owe you comment replies >.< About the DVD one, it can take me a little bit to get around watching stuff, so if you don't mind a wait, I'd love to see Gungrave. If it's possible to burn them, that'd be good too :)

I'll probably still look into sending you the dvds. Would a month's time be enough for you to watch them? I can still send 1&2 and then by the time the 4th dvd comes out in Jan, I can send you 3&4 once your done with the 1st two.

A month should be fine. Dec/Jan would make the most sense, as school starts back up again in Feb. so I'd just be working.

Mmmmmm....thats the thing about making home made cookies, is the home made cookie dough. I remember when I was little and mom would make cookies that weekend, she would hid the bowl so we kids would quit eating the dough or she wouldn't have enough to make *lol* I think I get full just eating the dough than what I do sampling the cookies when they come out of the oven. ^_~
