Another obsession

*flails* Like I really needed something else to be addicted to. I wasn't going to post this till I got done watching the series and since I have accomplished that, here it be::

GTO!! (Great Teacher Onizuka)

I can't thank you enough babaca for sending me the series as a gift, its one of my fav's that I received (I'll probably wear the damn things out). I got so hooked into it that I couldn't stop watching it. I rarely do this with any series unless the series is already done and has captured my attention like this one has. I actually would've been done with it sooner if I didn't have interruptions regarding the holiday. I was going for a marathon if it weren't for that.

I LOVE a series that makes me laugh at nearly every eps. Sure this one had its moments of seriousness but other than that, I was laughing my ass off. Something about GTO reminds me of Tenjou Tenge, might be the way Onizuka is with his facial expressions like how Nagi is. And not only that, but the Vice Principal is like THE SPITTING image of T.Nagi and Mits dad. (very very scary)

Man, why couldn't I have been that lucky to have a teacher like Onizuka. *snickers* Though it kills me that for someone like him that he's still a virgin. And all the mishaps that happens around his crotch, makes one wonder if he can even get it up *falls over* His character overall makes me laugh between living like a pig, getting drunk, his pervertedness! *wee!*, his knowledge, his stupidity, and a whole shit load more.

I know this is very very rare for me to say this about any female characters but this series has some MAJOR bitches, they were worse than the guys for a change even when it came to scheming. Its like wishing you could reach through the tv and ring their necks. But in some ways, you gotta have a main bitch, which till I read the manga, Miyabi is Queen Bitch in the anime followed by Uehara. Some chicks got what they deserved as well, the one I will mention was the spanking Onizuka gave the nerdy, bossy girl. *giggles*

I didn't want the series to end so soon and speaking of which.....WTF KIND OF ENDING WAS THAT??!!!! Its like badda bing badda bang boom its over. Felt rushed right near the end. Then having the nerve to tease with certain things regarding Onizuka and Fuyutsuki. *sighs* Oh well, thats what fics are for, plus it'd be fun to mess around with two virgins. Sad that I can't find squat for this series regarding fics or art. I checked a few on ffnet but wasn't in the mood to read Kikuchi and Kanzaki. Plus I'm sure once I get into reading the manga, other characters and such will come into play more than what was in the anime. I'm also hoping that they kinda show a bit of Onizuka's past.

The series is going to break me regarding the manga. 25 vols!!! *is ded* I have some X-mas money I could use to buy a few vols with.

This place has a few decent screencaps but only half the characters.

Did they ever reveal Miyabi's secret in the anime? =O

Or more importantly (since we know that anyway), did they ever reveal MAYU's?

That's the only thing that bugs me about the manga. =O Haven't watched the anime.

As for Miyabi, I wanna say that it was but not quite sure. I'm re-watching the series so I usually pick things up the 2nd time around.

Hmm....refresh my memory who Mayu is. Too many names and characters to have kept track of.

I can't wait to get a hold of the manga. Hopefully in the future you'll get a chance to see the anime. I'd burn ya copies but these are ripped dvds so that is beyond my knowledge of how to work with it.

Miyabi's secret isn't in the anime. I think the anime was made before the manga had gotten that far. And Mayu isn't even IN the anime.

Great series! The ending is a bit okay, wish it happened a different way- but it was still good. I don't think there was an episode that was "eh, blah"

I didn't care much for the ending of the series either. I haven't read the manga because there are so many volumes. But it's like potato chips you can't stop at just one episode. The bitches in this show were psychotic. But overall I loved most of the characters even the poor put upon principal and his poor car.

Amen to that! I know when I first started watching it, I'd be right on it when a disc was done. I'm usually not that way with other things that I watch.

Seeing those girls act like that made me go O____O cause I'm just glad I didn't have to put up with bitches like that when I was in school.

Yeah, I'm the same way. My god, *falls over* that poor man, no matter how hard he tried and I kept thinking "dude, if you would just park your car elsewhere, you'd have less of a chance of it getting damaged." but then again, sometimes trouble will find you no matter where you go.

It's about time someone I know has watched this series! I only raved about it all last year. ;-P There's very little fan stuff out there. Oh believe me, I saw those posts when you talked about it. I just couldn't contribute to it since the only thing I heard about it was the title and seen a few Onizuka cosplayers at the cons.

Believe me, smut was already on the brain before the series was over and when I couldn't find any smut fics, it only made the smut bunny grow more. Just gotta think what kinda of scene/setting I want to base it on. (feel free to pass me ideas if something comes to mind of whatever it may be).

I also recall seeing your ficlet on BI and read it the other night, will have to go back and read it again.

Thanx for the links, I noticed how some of them I saw before when I was looking for stuff and it sucks too that half of them are on angelfire. I made sure to join the lj comm when I got hooked.

Sounds like a good idea for a fic. Hmmm....de-virginized version? (meaning that I could see them having sex before he left, just have to change a few things a bit) I mean I wouldn't want my virginity taken on the spur of the moment thing on the roof like that ^_~ I'm sure that these two will be having sex alot in my brain so there can be plenty more for them in the future (if possible). Sucks that the majority of them are on IRC which I don't use. I am reading what they have uploaded of Shounan which makes me go O____O. Probably wouldn't be so bad if the art was a bit more up to date, and its kinda hard to see them like that at that age though that series makes me laugh alot. I never saw two guys who either jerk off quite a bit or have nearly constant raging hard ons that they hug to comfort themselves *lol*
