We FINALLY got tv channels again. We were without it for 4 days last week. The dish peeps were supposed to have installed the dish on Sunday but then they had some sort of idiotic bullshit nitpicking hookup problem that pissed bubba off so bad, that when he called up their supervisor after the fuckers packed up and left without even telling us about it, bubba just went off. Mon the main super. came out to see about what they could or couldn't do regarding placing the dish and said what bubba wanted was fine and he'd have someone come out on Wed.
Granted we don't normally watch much tv but when there's nothing to do around the house at night, you tend to want to watch tv even if nothing is on. I got tired of watching dvds and even though we have a good bit of movies, I have to be in the mood to watch the majority of them. I guess I could've used that time to catch up on anime but didn't.
It's so weird to have satellite again. And of course, it never fails that once it was installed yesterday, we had a hellacious storm come through in the evening which had the signal out for about an hr. I would've been PISSED if it didn't come back on by the time Lost was on. Its bad enough I missed last week's eps and still would like to see it. Does anyone know what # it was? 11 or 12?
But having satellite, we have the majority of the channels they offer which I can now indulge in VH1 Classics again! *dances* We had it for like a trial period when we had cable and was totally pissed when we couldn't get it anymore. I think I could be happy with just VH1 Classics (that is until they go down the shitter like how MTV2 did), Comedy Central, CN, some movie channels (though they'd have to be showing a movie I've been wanting to see), and maybe Nick. I could really care less about the others.
We also have DVR with it so once bubba shows me how to use it, I hope not to rely on my vcr as much.

After watching Lost last night, I have now dubbed it thee "Mind Fuck" cause after last night's eps with Boone in the jungle, it lives up to that name. And speaking of Boone, I think he's just adorably cute. What else has he played on? Is it me or does it seem like his cheeks are almost always red? I'm eventually going to keel over from the damn cliffhangers, I get so frustrated after its over and knowing I have to wait another week.....*ded* OMFG!!!! Its funny when you think about certain actors on this series cause I swore I seen Locke on something before. If anyone has seen the movie Old School, he plays the highschool girl's father with the mustache that Mitch works for. When I saw that, I couldn't stop laughing. Plus Jin played on Spiderman 2 as a side helper to Doc Octavious.
Since I missed last week's eps, can anyone fill me in as to what happened? And also, cause I can't recall it but what is that key around Jack's neck for?
Also if you want to get a giggle out of what went on in this eps of Lost, you gotta read this.
