Ugh, I don't think I could hack having a cat that close to my face. I know mine likes to lay right up on ya by having his body near my pillow. For the most part, our 2 cats are semi short haired but they still shed just as much. Sucks having dark carpet and dark covers on our bed, it shows in no time flat.
No, neither of them drool YET when it comes to waking us up. The one cat will chew on the light switch on the headboard or he'll try and knock stuff down that we might have on the nightstand or just get in your face, being a HUGE pest. Or when you first lay down on the brink of sleep, he'll get in your face nudging you for attention till you have to hollar at him to let you sleep.
EEEP! I don't think I could handle any of them farting if they couldn't find a better way to wake me up. Its bad enough their shit stinks.
