Yesterday was my other appt to have my bottom tooth worked on for my root canal. This BETTER be the last time I have to go in for shit like this (not counting the appts that are in a week to get the crown put on). I told bubba that when I get my check up in June and they tell me they found something else wrong elsewhere, I'm getting ALL my teeth pulled. Having this work done is killing us regarding what we have to pay on our end. We have a credit plan with the dental office and with the amount everything is totaling to, we'll never get it paid off in a yr before the interest kicks in, unless we come into some money beforehand but I don't see that happening. And I'm trying like crazy again on the search for a part time job.
I had a different dentist this time since I went in the afternoon. After nearly 2hrs into them working in my mouth, the asst. FINALLY asks me if I want a mouth piece to hold my mouth open. Why can't this be offered before they start? Though it made me paranoid cause it sucked having my mouth hanging open like that (its quite different if your doing it on your own) and it made it harder to swallow. Also something I don't understand is, with the previous dentists I went to, they give you safety glasses to put on. These ppl don't, they wear it for themselves but your left to close your eyes while they are doing their job. I don't find that very safe as a patient on not having my eyes protected. I've felt the water spray and pieces of my tooth flying up on my face.
Then while she was working on the bottom tooth, it was like she was chewing my ass out cause my gum was bleeding and it was making it hard for them to finish. "Do you floss?"
I do but only if I have something stuck between my teeth or when I actually remember to do so. She got on my case about "well if you floss more, it would help out on your gums and keep the build of up plaque down."
They act like with all the drilling and picking and digging that its not going to make a person's gum sore or bleed. She gave me this special rinse that I'm supposed to use a week before I go back in, its supposed to help with my gums somehow.

Got my dvds in the mail yesterday, half of which are belated X-mas gifts to some ppl. The place I deal with, I like buying from them cause they have good cheap prices and cheap shipping. BUT this is the 2nd time they pissed me off when it comes to getting damaged goods. If its not them having what I want in stock, especially while PRE-ORDERING it, its receiving banged up cases.
When I got my 3rd Gungrave dvd in the mail last time, the middle section was broke and the dvd was loose, which of course had the disc shifting around and scratching it. Its tiny scratches and it plays but thats not the point. This time around, my Bubba Ho-Tep case was fucked up, I could tell even before I opened it cause I heard a rattling. Again, the middle piece was broke clearly in half and the disc was freely moving around which caused small scratches again on the disc but plays okay.
The fucked up part about all of this is that, they will NOT refund me or exchange me the damaged one for a new one REGARDLESS if I had it opened or not. Said they are not responsible for broken items which I think is bullshit. These are not broken cause of going through the mail, they are already broken while they have it stored in their warehouse. It just has to be. I had 4 dvds in this recent box and out of all those 4 only one was broken so what gives? And if you are so fucking deaf while taking the orders off the shelf and can't HEAR that the product is damaged, WHY do you still send it out?????!!!!
I'm thinking about calling their customer service and voicing my displeasure with how they handle their merchandise. Is it so fucking hard to send these dvds out in a PADDED box or envelope????????!!!!!!!! All they do is ship a dvd in a cardboard box or if you order a few, they put paper filling in it. Yeah, some protection that is.

Man, this weekend was pretty busy for us. We finally cut the troublesome pecan tree down behind the house. Now we have less of a mess when it comes to cleaning the pool and the surrounding areas. There are times I even wonder why I spend any of my time on cleaning the house for. I vacuumed on Fri and by Sat. the kitchen and living room carpets were a MESS!!!!!!!! I'm getting sick and tired of vacuuming. And its even worse cause we have a carpeted kitchen (who in their right mind carpets a FUCKING KITCHEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!??????) and dark carpets throughout the house.

And an ending note, to those who I owe packages to, I guess I couldn't get them sent after all yesterday. I ran out of packing envelopes and I also have to wait till payday the end of the week.
Oh and before I forget, a correction as to what eps the new Gungrave dvd ended at. Then again, since I didn't have #3 handy, I wasn't sure what # it left off at. I was kinda shocked to see that #4 leaves off with eps.16 "Letter". YAY! That means we can see dub Crazy!Harry going spastic in eps.15 "Harry" as well as seeing chibi Harry and Brandon.

Thank god I'm not the only one who gets chewed out about it. Hubby said that they probably have to say it since its probably part of their requirement of their job. I'll keep that tip in mind with Listerine.
Well what she did in the areas that were bleeding was placing little cotton things (not sure what they were) soaked in some VERY NASTY fluid I guess to help stop the bleeding and then once she thought it had done its job, she would take tweezers and pluck them out where she stuffed them at.
And what really sucked for me and that nasty shit was that I had that taste in my mouth and I couldn't do anything cause I had that mouth guard in. You would think they would have taken that out and rinsed my mouth out. Fuck, that shit was sooooooooo gross!!!!!
