This has probably been the best of the half time shows that I can recall. No pop/whiny/fake bullshit singers,dancers/clothing malfunctions that we will never hear the end of *snerks*.

You still ROCK Sir Paul!

Yeah it would've been neat to have been one of the lucky ones to have gotten to stand out in the crowd.

Instead, I rocked at my nice warm home, singing along to 'Hey, Jude' (which is my mom's fave). Better than last year.

*snickers* Me too though I was singing along with just about all the songs and bopping around to Drive My Car (one of my fav Beatle albums was Rubber Soul).

I have a feeling that this was only a tease regarding half time shows. It would be nice if they all could be this mellow and nothing glamorous but sadly, I hate to see what next yr holds and the future acts. It what I always hated about the Super Bowl, it seems like its not so focused on the game but all the frivolous frou frou regarding half time. This yr didn't seem so bad in that area either. Last yr had me just rolling my eyes at the shows and the commericals.

Sometimes SB hits it well, sometimes they don't. Last yr I was like...wha? I would have thought MTV would have done a good job, but I felt lackluster at their attempts (and I won't mention what happened THAT time either; old already). Now the next one, the 40th, will be in Michigan (ahem). I'm not sure what entertainment it will be, but I sure hope it is good. I don't want to be categorized as a bad half-time yr. Makes my state lks bad (in my eyes).
