Onto the fic recs::

Gungrave

These were posted to gun_grave recently but I'll just go ahead and put the link to the actual fics. Both written by naga_battousai

Assumption. No pairings, just character views though alot of it seems to be from Brandon's thoughts. Also covers a bit from the aftermath of the Blood War battle.

Illusions. More Brandon's view, contemplating Harry's motive & friendship. Also love the way she wrote Bunji. Hell, just totally dig her writing period regarding grasping the characters as such.

I can't WAIT till she gets around to posting part 3.

Was checking out the cosplayers from Sakura Con (should've been dubbed as the FMA/Naruto con). Here are a few that caught my eye.

Sakura. For those that do or don't know, she's dressed as the Sakura from that pic of Team 7 in those funky outfits. I have the pic but don't feel like uploading it. So if anyone has a link to it, feel free to post it in the comments. Good job on the costume though I must say.

And since I'm mentioning Naruto, thanx to nightambre for posting an awesome art pic by PaintPixel *envies* Naruto girls. Talk about fucking hot!

And for the goodies, I found these last night and made post-haste on purchasing them. I saw that they also had a Shippou keychain but could only afford to get the two that I got. Plus these seem like the ones I saw of Trigun which I wouldn't mind having a Wolfwood later too.

Its.....CHIBI Brandon & Harry!!! (from Gungrave for those that didn't know)





I can't wait to get them in the mail so I can hug them, and squish them, and wuvwuvwuv them to death. I doubt I'll even take them out of the package or even use them. *lol* Now if only they would have them as chibi's on pins, I would so be ded!! (they need chibi Maria too if they are going to do that)

I know that Sakura outfit ... it's kind of like Mishimoto's "future" Naruto... I have the official book it comes from. I might have it scanned on my computer at home.

And that drawing of the Naruto girls was mighty nice. I thought it was clever that the Konoha leaf appears in the armbands and jewelry.

God, I swear PaintPixel could earn some cash if they were to get into the animation business. I loved her coloring and drawings for quite some time, make me wanna cry at the awesomeness of her talent.

Yeah it was, though the only one who wasn't wearing jewelry was Hinata which is a bit odd.

While I think of it, I can't remember who it was that bought them but have you bought those card holders? (I want to say it was you who I thought bought something like that at Ushicon '03) I FINALLY saw something I wanted for Gungrave that were card holders and couldn't remember what they looked like and how many cards come with them.

This is the first time while looking at cosplay pics, that I seen a Trish. I agree about them looking in character and Dante's hair was pretty good too. I was so happy when I saw those pics, I couldn't help but NOT to post them ^________^

They must've had only one Brandon on hand to sell cause they had an extra Harry left. I can check back later to see if they put Brandon back up for sale.

Ya know, your birthday is coming up in like 2 and a half months (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??!!!) so I can keep a few things in my notes as to what I can get for you ^__________^.

I nearly squealed when I saw the keychains, I wasn't expecting them to actually make any. They need to make a Bunji with a kitty, that would be SOOO CUTE!

If and when you get the chance, you should check out those Gungrave fics I have listed. I think you'll like them and her character development of everyone. I want to give Brandon a hug so much in both fics, I don't like seeing him so....so....sad/struggling with his thoughts of Harry and everything going on around him.

Mission 11: Fate. I have to go down a well and do things then go back up and then face off with Nelo again. Bastard is a tad bit harder than the first round I had with him. Died during the fight but haven't had the chance to play that part again since Sun.

I was surprised to see those DMC cosplayers, especially a Trish (she needs a tad more boobage) *lol*. Dante did a good job with his hair.

And while I think of it, when you get the chance, you should check out those GG fic recs. Talk about GUH! I totally love her portrayal of the characters and Bunji opening himself up a little to Brandon in Assumptions was endearing. Her take on Harry is like spot on!

As for the keychains, I got a giggle out of Harry and that look on his face. (scary already *lol*)

Aren't they? I wasn't expecting them to really make these even though they have some of Trigun made of the same material. I'm just surprised they don't have a Grave since with most GG products, Grave is the main focus.
