So speaking of the manga, this series has won my heart and I find it to be less boring than Naruto, as sad as that sounds. And what helped that along is that I don't join "open" comm's like the mess that chuunin is; I stick to icons, pairings I like, and a place that is a plethora of info without having to put up with the annoying fangirls that would make me drop Bleach in a drop of a hat, almost how I feel right about now with Naruto. (I'm so burnt out with that series, its not funny)

I'm making myself slooooooowly read the manga cause I don't want to read it so fast that I'm begging for a new chapter. I stopped at #166 last night. I actually wouldn't mind buying this manga in book form but its bad enough I'm trying to keep up with the few I actually do buy. My love for Renji has grown 10folds more and I get all squishy for Renji/Rukia. What totally did me in for him was when he went up against Byakuya. After reading that battle, already I wanted to write something with Renji's thoughts. *headdesk* But shhh....you didn't hear that from me, it was just a lovely thought though. *shiftyeyes* The characters overall for this series whether they are assholes or mean well, I think is what really pulls me into it. Some characters totally took me by surprise, mostly the Captains though.

I'd do a better write up but I'm strapped for time, maybe later.

*hyperventilates over seeing Hitsugaya in a suit* Is it just me, or is Ichigo not earning enough attention from fangirls? I'm finding that most people actually prefer Renji... or, er, the guy Rukia supposedly murdered (I forgot his name! What kind of fan am I?!).

I'm the same way. Every time though when I see a orange haired character, I always think of Kyo cause most of these guys that do have orange hair, have his kind of attitude.

Now, Renji (how can you not?), Byakuya (not a bastard!), and Ishida (dork love times infinity) are a different story. ~_^ Hell even Gin!

1. Renji - exactly! Though it always hurts me to see him struggle with his feelings for Rukia and stuff. In some ways, I can see her treating him in a "but we're such good friends, I don't want to ruin that." But if they can't hook up, then just having sex with no strings attached is fine by me, they need to do that more often. *lol*

2. Byakuya - still pondering my feelings on his character even though I know what he went through for doing what he did in regards to Rukia (I skimmed it, I haven't read quite that far yet).

3. Ishida - who knew that such a "serious" person like him could be such a hoot! I always like laughing at him when they put in him those odd situations and giving him sewing skills tops the cake. YAY! For Dorks!

4. Gin - so far, not my fav. unless he does something that makes me change my mind.

5. Kenpachi - when I first saw his pic, he scared me and was thinking that he'd be really creepy. Little did I know that he had me laughing outloud and his Lt. is just as funny, those two are quite the team *lol*

I like Ichigo but he's just not on top of the list of who all I really like but he's still adorable. I liked Renji when he first showed up but after reading the fight between he and Byakuya in the manga, I fell in much more love with his character.

Yeah I know what ya mean. I skimmed over the recent chap's of the manga and see how he kinda changes but he still seems like a bastard though he might have his reasons.

This series really surprised me, I never thought that the captains would fight each other or do the evil things they do. But I like it, you gotta have some assholes and not be flooded with too many good guys. It gives it a challenge.

Two things about this "phenomenon" concerning graphic novels:

It's about DAMN TIME!

And since I'm going to make a living and a passion out of writing them, I'm glad I can not only get a little respect but something more than a puzzled look when I say the words "graphic novel." (The article also didn't mention the V For Vendetta movie, which looks like it will be amazing. I have to catch up and start reading it before the movie comes out.)

And as far as Naruto vs Bleach Matrix, you should talk to my dear friend dunkle_feuer. She's a huge fan of Naruto and plain old Bleach (don't know if it's related-- never seen either series/manga). You two could probably talk at each other for hours about Naruto, and she's a Marilyn Manson and Nine Inch Nails fan to boot.

While I'm still Naruto obsessed, Bleach has certainly taken on a huge fascination with me. I think even if Naruto weren't having filler eps right now I'd still be more hungry for the Bleach eps.

I still need to read the actual manga though. I too wouldn't mind buying it in book form but I just haven't yet. *shrugs*

And the picture totally gives off both Matrix and Resevoir Dogs vibes.

I think I just go burnt out on Naruto cause I've been watching it since it first came out and it was something new to like. Now, I'm just getting kinda tired of hearing about it. I still haven't watched anymore eps since 109 (though I keep up on the dl's) and I haven't read much of the manga since Kakashi's younger days. I skimmed that and now I'm going to have to go back and catch up on reading what I ignored of the manga too.

I don't want to jinx anything but I'm actually pretty shocked to see that no one licensed the Bleach anime yet.

If it weren't for me having so many titles to catch up on, I would buy Bleach but its going to be quite awhile before I get the chance to do even that.

I never watched or read Naruto so I have no basis of comparison but I am loving Bleach. Even though there's a gazillion characters you still get to know them. That's good writing for you.

The creator is a genius I think when it comes to putting his characters in the different ways that he does plus with his taste in "hip" clothing too.

Mmmmmm.....yes indeed!

I just think that Bleach is something refreshing to read. They don't quite drag out the fights like what Naruto does but its also the Naruto fandom that has either scared me or made me wanna go postal on some ppl. And thats sad to say cause not even the FMA fandom has made me feel like that and neither does the Bleach fandom. I think what helps that along is I stay away from the places now that makes you wanna dislike the series. Plus the girls in Bleach are all awesome and really don't get too much bashing unlike how the girls in Naruto is, only cause "Kishimoto doesn't know how to handle girls". *rollseyes* (typical male, he should take pointers from the maker of Bleach.

Even though there's a gazillion characters you still get to know them. That's good writing for you.

Oh god, ain't that the truth! My head was spinning when I was trying to figure out who's name was who's, especially everyone in Soul Society.
