*sighs* Man, so its July? Which means 20 more days to my birthday...already *weeps* Where did half the yr go?
Had my check up on my ears. Again, my appt was at 9:30am and I wasn't called back till after 10 >___<. I was starting to fall asleep while waiting. This time it didn't take quite as long for her to check me out. Everything's cleared up and the vibration test in my ears (I think it measures the vibration of your ear drums) turned out better. Just glad I didn't have to take another hearing test. She also gave me advice when I asked her about what I should do when I fly back to TX from PA in Sept when it comes to my ears or my ear popping. She said right before the plane descends, take Sudafed and take my nasal spray along. Here's to hoping the pills will work, I just don't wanna have to deal with ear problem again just cause my ear couldn't pop right.

I swear, if its not something going on with me that needs fixed, its the cats. For the past 3 days Sam has been puking alot though from what I've been noticing, it seems to be in the morning and afternoons. Its not hairball related cause I know what hairball puke looks like. This time it looks like his food, its not liquefied either, just lumpy. The first time he started happened at night on our BED at that but at least he did it on the comforter. I'm surprised bubba didn't hear him do it since he was the one sleeping while I was at work. Tues & Wed when I was trying to sleep in the morning, Sam would either be very very buggy or his retching would wake me up. I had to lock him out of the bedroom so I could get some decent sleep. UGH! The mess I've had to clean up is getting annoying. And the fucked up thing is, as much as we want to get him checked out, we can hardly afford it. I have a feeling with the blood work and tests they'd want to do to him will no doubt be around $200-$300. Again, money we don't have. The thing is too, it can't be the food he's eating cause he's been eating it for the past yr now and never has caused he or Smokey any problems. I called the vet yesterday to tell them what's been going on before I'd make an appt. The receptionist put the vet on the phone and went over a few things with me. So he tells me I could either bring him in yesterday or today and if I do that, Sam can't eat for at least 24 hrs. but can have water. I put up their food bowls and showed Smokey where I put them so he doesn't have to suffer on not eating. I've given small doses of milk in a dish for Sam to see if he could keep that down but sadly later on last night it came right back up along with the few pieces of food I tried to give him. Bubba told me about the mess in the kitchen when he got back from a call. Since we're not going to be home this weekend, I told him we shouldn't hold off on not getting him checked out. I don't want to come home to a dead cat on Monday. Wish me luck that its nothing overly bad with the cat when I take him in this morning. *sighs*

Didn't really make any plans for the weekend holiday so we're just going to my s-i-l's and probably go boating. Gotta work OT Sat morning but I have a feeling I won't be staying for long and it wouldn't surprise me that I won't have much work tonight since the company is letting ppl off 2hrs early (at least for the 1st shift, 2nd & 3rd can take their times at a later time). Hopefully that will give me a little time to write.
I might might be on AIM tonight if anyone wants to chat. My SN is duogundamw.
So have a safe and fun holiday without blowing off any body parts.

Yup, I hear ya on that one. Sounds like what we'd rather do now is just deal with the puking instead of wasting the money on an older cat on surgery. So far so good on him not puking since we were away this weekend *crosses fingers*
I'm going to change their food out once the bag is empty.

To hubby its wasting money on stuff like that. And every time he had to bring it up to everyone about how much we spent for a stupid cat, he kept saying "it just would've been cheaper to put him down." This has been the first time we really took any of our cats to a vet that seemed serious. I could understand if we were doing it all the time but we're not. Though the fucked up part is that our total came out to $318 whereas putting the animal down if you don't want the remains was like $160-180'ish and if you wanted the remains in a cedar box was $201.
I'm sorry but I'd rather have Sam go when he feels like its his time to die, not cause someone is tired of putting up with his shit.
But the reality is not everyone can easily afford it.
God, ain't that the truth.
