This may sound odd.... and Naruto plushies

Or better yet, stupid, crazy, whatever it may be but I'm actually kind of afraid to watch the last Gungrave dvd. I think this series is one of the veryveryveryvery few animes that really hit a chord with me when it comes to the emotional factor. This is also probably why I haven't watched this series back to back once I was done with it all. It takes me a bit to go back and rewatch it but I always make sure I have something afterwards that will be a pick-me-up. Regardless how the series is, I still love it to pieces.

At least with these last 3 eps, I know its going to hit me harder just hearing it in English. I think the only uplifting part is when Brandon met Maria and of course the antics Kenny does when it comes to picking on Brandon about her.

Some may not feel the same way as me when it comes to how the series might affect them but oh well. I'm glad to know a few on my flist who feels the same as me regarding this series. I'll be there to hold your hand if you hold mine ^_~

I guess the other better part about this now that the series is finally complete on dvd is that with 3 different fic ideas I have for Gungrave now, should help me along quicker if I need a certain eps to get me fueled to write whatever it is I need.

*sighs* I suppose I shall suck it up and drive on! *wibbles*

For those interested in Naruto plushies, AnimeTen has posted the new ones they recently got in.

I'm actually surprised how they took the material and such from the game (wasn't the most story-rific game at times =P) gave it a solid backstory and it was just plain great. They turned it into something surrpising, a really memorable series in my opinion. I can't wait for my dvd to get here...since they won't ship it yet...AH!

I WANT IT LOTS! ERG!

But yeah, I'll probably watch it all at once when I get the chance.

Yay for Gungrave!

I couldn't agree more. I mean who knew that they could create so much material from their past all the way to the future present. And all we got to see that was vital to the game was Harry shooting Brandon, and even then we didn't see nor told how he became Grave. Kudos to the staff that came up with such creativity and Nightow for creating it and giving it his approval.

I'd like to have a Gungrave marathon and watch the series in its entirety some weekend. Just wish I actually had some friends close by to watch it with.

I'm never buying from AnimeTen again...they messed up 4 orders and blamed me for it saying I bought it when I have no record of it. Then sent out statements to their mailing list blaming customers for sending stuff back. They erk me so much.

On an off note, have you ever watched Generator Gawl? I was thinking of sending some eps to your for your birfday- along with the Keroro's that I promised a while back. I was hoping HKF would stay up long enough for me to get some of the missing eps but that ain't happening. Sorry that my collection is so scattered. They are like impossible to dl and the DVD's are so expensive.

Sorry to hear you had a bad service with AnimeTen. Before and after they changed their name, I never had bad service with them. But I can understand your reason for feeling like that.

No, actually I never watched G.Gawl. A few of my friends have but thats how I ever heard of the name. But sure, I'd love to check the series out. Is it good? In fact, I don't think I ever read up on it as to what it was about.

That sucks regarding HKF on trying to find the missing eps. I know the dl's are a bitch to get a seeder from.

P.S-

While I think of it, if there is a series you'd like to see that I might have and you either want to check it out or don't want to go through the dl'ing process, let me know.

Generator Gawl is pretty interesting, I think you will like it. I got them ready for mailing- just need to get to the postie before the end of the day so they can hopefully get to you by Wednesday. Your birthday feels like it just snuck up. This whole year has flown by.
The downloads I have problems with- are either old school animes or something that has yet hit the loop of popularity. Keroros give me hell, so I'm going to have to give up and buy the DVDs. *sighs* Problem is- Japan's region 2 or Hong Kong's unlicensed solicitations.

Christ! You ain't lyin about that. I'm still trying to figure out where like April or May went.

I don't know if its cause of the summer or what but subbers have been sooooooooooooooo slow on getting certain titles out and these are the ones that aren't even licensed yet.
