Or better yet, stupid, crazy, whatever it may be but I'm actually kind of afraid to watch the last Gungrave dvd. I think this series is one of the veryveryveryvery few animes that really hit a chord with me when it comes to the emotional factor. This is also probably why I haven't watched this series back to back once I was done with it all. It takes me a bit to go back and rewatch it but I always make sure I have something afterwards that will be a pick-me-up. Regardless how the series is, I still love it to pieces.

At least with these last 3 eps, I know its going to hit me harder just hearing it in English. I think the only uplifting part is when Brandon met Maria and of course the antics Kenny does when it comes to picking on Brandon about her.

Some may not feel the same way as me when it comes to how the series might affect them but oh well. I'm glad to know a few on my flist who feels the same as me regarding this series. I'll be there to hold your hand if you hold mine ^_~

I guess the other better part about this now that the series is finally complete on dvd is that with 3 different fic ideas I have for Gungrave now, should help me along quicker if I need a certain eps to get me fueled to write whatever it is I need.

*sighs* I suppose I shall suck it up and drive on! *wibbles*

I'm actually surprised how they took the material and such from the game (wasn't the most story-rific game at times =P) gave it a solid backstory and it was just plain great. They turned it into something surrpising, a really memorable series in my opinion. I can't wait for my dvd to get here...since they won't ship it yet...AH!

I WANT IT LOTS! ERG!

But yeah, I'll probably watch it all at once when I get the chance.

Yay for Gungrave!

I couldn't agree more. I mean who knew that they could create so much material from their past all the way to the future present. And all we got to see that was vital to the game was Harry shooting Brandon, and even then we didn't see nor told how he became Grave. Kudos to the staff that came up with such creativity and Nightow for creating it and giving it his approval.

I'd like to have a Gungrave marathon and watch the series in its entirety some weekend. Just wish I actually had some friends close by to watch it with.
