Need help

Yes I know this may sound like a dumb question but for some reason, well okay I blame the anime Spiral for making me have this craving, but does anyone have a recipe on how to make Eggsalad? I know its probably just hard boiled eggs and mayo right? Or do you add mustard in with the mixture too? The last time I had any good eggsalad was when I was younger and the neighbor girl's mom made some sandwiches for us when we went out on our own little picnic. That was some damn good eggsalad!

So yeah, anyone know of how to make it???? Please!!!????

It's pretty much the same ingredients as potato salad, without the potatoes and pickles, and you can add whatever else you like to it. Mustard is usually optional, some people like it, some people don't.

I'll keep that in mind and look in my notepad to see how mom makes her potato salad and then see what all it equals out to w/out the taters.

If your mom's recipe is the one you really like, then that's the one you should use. The thing about egg, potato, pasta, tuna and chicken salads is they are very versatile, you can add or leave out whatever you like and don't like.

I think people have difference preferences, but it is just plain mayo, eggs, and salt. I add tumeric and mustard. I sometimes put in sweet pickles, unless I make it to go into deviled eggs.

I like mine with mayo, a leeeeetle bit of mustard, onions and celery.

Boil eggs. Peel eggs. Smash eggs up good in a bowl. Add a little salt. Add a little pepper (although I love lots of pepper so I add a lot ... sneezing all the way). And then add some Miracle Whip salad dressing (I'm sorry I HATE mayo it makes eggsalad too bland tasting but Miracle Whip spices it up nicely). Add enough MW so it has the right egg salady consistency. Slap on between two slices of bread and enjoy. :)

Thanx for the helpful info, sounds like you and Anna like yours the same way. Can't make it right now though, I don't have any MW handy, just a bigass container of Helmans.

Heya, Sweetie....
Once the eggs are done... cut them all up and whatever, add salt, pepper, paprika *yum*, garlic if you like but ONLY a TINY TINY BIT.... and mayo *or miracle whip cause that stuff rocks.... but mayo when you're poor :(* and about half the amount of mustard as mayo.... um... probly late but better late than never...... Tee hee hee.... *HUGGLES* c-ya

I wanted to ask you this last night but forgot, do you add the mayo just enough to make it wet or do you measure the mayo and mustard out?
