Sat. was our fish-fry/pool party and everything turned out okay though we still had alot of fish left over *oi vey!*. We've been having these small bouts of storms come through since the last big storm on Thurs. Later Sat afternoon it got kinda dark, thundered, and had a few small sprinkles but that was about it (thank god). Everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves which is also always a good thing. A bunch of us just goofed around on hitting the pool volleyball around and if someone wants a good work out, do that. Its been ages since I did something like that and its fun aside from nearly constantly having water in your eyes when your trying to serve the ball or if the ball comes flying and lands in front of you, splashing more water in your face.
After the majority of the ppl left around 11pm, the only ones still here were bubba, myself, and the neighbor lady. In fact, I've stayed in the water for nearly 10hrs (6pm-4:30am) aside from the few times I got out for something but got right back in. It was between going from the pool to the hotub. I took a small nap on the inner tube I was floating on, kinda comfortable but end up getting a crick in my neck.
I have no clue why we didn't just call it a night and later, two of Debbie's friends stopped by so that just added to the time. I don't think I ever stayed in the water as long as I had that night. My feet and hands were so pruned, it almost hurt to walk.
Felt so good to finally go to bed going on 5am but woke up in pain around 8. I never felt this kind of soreness before in my right shoulder. It wasn't muscle related, it felt almost like a nerve pain. No amount of massaging was going to help it and ontop of that, I had painful headache on the right side as well. I just knew that with all the stuff we were doing in regards to playing pool volleyball, I was going to be pretty sore in the arms. The shoulder pain was just, well aside from very painful but very annoying. My forearms are still sore as fuck. I felt so terrible yesterday morning, almost as if I were drinking heavily the night before and the sad thing was, I didn't. I took a much needed long nap later Sunday afternoon.
More storms were brewing yesterday, had no power again since lightening struck a powerline, yet I don't think we saw any of the rain. More clouds today but as much as we need the rain, it needs to make up its mind if it wants to rain or not.
I have one more excursion to write up from the cruise in regards to Belize and some misc pics and that should be it from the vacation finally.
