A new fic posted to [livejournal.com profile] gun_grave. The idea hit me last week and actually flowed pretty smoothly with me like how I wished ALL my fics could be. All the explanations are in the beginning of the entry at the comm. so I won't go through all of it here.

Also since I kept getting inquires about Gungrave fics, you can always check the Memory section at the community and look under fanfics (and of course anything else that is saved in that area). Just about everything in the memory section is updated.

Title: Bang Bang
Author: Beck
Characters used: Harry and Grave
Warnings: some swearing and of course death.
Notes: This is based on the 1st Gungrave game. So everything here is in the game's universe. KEEP IN MIND that if you have not played this game, there are spoilers in the fic regarding a certain character. It just all depends if you, the reader, feel that this is important or not if you knew what went on without playing it. Also, the game ending is COMPLETELY different than what the anime gave us.
Disclaimer: Me no own. Gungrave belongs to Red Entertainment, Project Gungrave, & Yasuhiro Nightow. Clip of lyrics belong to Nancy Sinatra's song "Bang Bang."

Harry didn’t have to look back to know who was standing behind him; he could feel it in his bones.

*blushes* I don't know what to say, your comment has left me speechless.

The whole piece evoked a very dusty, smokey, dry and aching feeling to their environment.

Thats the kind of feeling that the game gave me when you get closer to the end.

Loved that. It sounded very much like Harry.

Without a doubt. He was such a smartass when he came face to face with Grave in both the game and anime, there were so many different things he could spew off to where it would seem that by using harsh words was his way of defense aside from his gun.

Very sharp imagery. The description came alive and off the page. Metallic phlegm...[nods] Very descriptive.

*grins* That came out from no where actually. Though I wish that could happen more often when I'm trying to search for the words I want to describe something.

Nice use of the N. Sinatra lyrics. It wrapped up the fic quite tidily.

That song just begged to be written for this series, it goes so well with the turn of events. And I'm very curious as to why this song has become so popular recently. GOOD! I'm so glad you think so for the way it ended. As I was telling a friend, who also knows both the game and anime, that I was kind of afraid on just how TO end it. I mean the ending to the game was simply to the point, there is nothing else to really add to it. Cause I'm getting tired of getting comments about wanting to see more to it even though it says END.

Thanx for the very well thought out comment, its a rarity to get GOOD comments like that.
