A new commission piece I had requested to ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jurty *loves and snuggles*. Between my OZ uniform fetish and of course my fav. het pairs of the series, plus how spring/summer/June reminded me of times that ppl like to have weddings, made me come up with a wedding series. Not just the fetish but since bubba got married in his Army dress uniform, I thought it would be fitting to have the guys in their OZ outfits during theirs. This is the 1st out of two, the other being 1xR coming later (w/OZ uniform for Heero *grin*). I was actually going to have it where I could get other artists to commish for the idea but its hard now a days to actually find those that:
#1. Either knows what Gundam Wing is
#2. Knows what GW is but perhaps might no longer do art for it
#3. I know that gowns aren't the easiest things to draw
and of course, the most important of it all
#4. Those that will actually draw het.
I'm pleased to say the least (even more so but I'm just at a loss of words for this pic *sniffles*) that the turn out for my idea is just stunning.
Not only did I give her the ideas to play with, but I sent her links to my wedding pics that she could use to base the art from. The similarity to my own dress that she put on Une is mind boggling as well as the flower head piece. *boggles* The lilies in the pic are also based on some of the flowers in my bouquet that bubba got for me for our anniversary this yr. *boggles some more*
Yes I'll admit to it that looking at the pic, I get teary eyed. I was never the one to really cry at weddings but having the experience now, I guess it just happens. *lol* I didn't even have a wet eye during our wedding while bubba was already starting to have tears in his eyes. But as soon as the preacher was finishing up the ceremony, I just started to bawl like a baby. It probably hit me that my life was no more *kidding!!!*

I think Une came out beautiful and Trowa looks very dashing. Jurty always does fantastic work.

OMG! I'm glad you think so too. I was looking at those pics after I uploaded them and was like "damn, he could actually pass for Trowa" in the garter scene. I think its the way his hair was styled or the tilt of his head that made his hair hang down a bit.

When I had the near finished pic and put it on my wallpaper, hubby came into my compy room and I showed it to him. He was like "well she kinda looks like you *sans hair color* but that doesn't look nothing like me." Well DUH! It wasn't supposed to dork. I know when I told her about the commissions I'd like to see done, I told her not to rush herself if she wasn't sure yet how to grasp Brandon and Maria (even though from what I've seen in her LJ from time to time, she's got Brandon and Grave down pretty well). I'm anxious if and when she gets around to doing my Brandon and Maria pic. *happysigh*

BTW, I found is lily of the valley. Oh!! I had these fowers at my garden too ^_^ I *love* their smell. But they blossom in May only T_T

kekekeke, I had to be a tease by using the icon before I got to actually post the actual pic. Let ppl ponder on it for a bit ^_~
I liked the dress too, and to be honest, its not even mine. I borrowed it from my sister in law (Mary) and THANK GOD at the time I could fit into it, it saved us ALOT of money on not having to buy me a dress. My other sister in law (Alice) made my flowered head piece and can you believe it, my bouquet's flowers weren't even real. The lady that did Mary's flowers for her wedding, she did mine and they turned out so pretty. At least I can still keep the bouquet and not have to worry about dead flowers. Our wedding only cost us about $1,000 give or take. Hubby's aunt made our wedding cake and doesn't it look like a professional did it? It was really good too. We were blessed that she was able to do that for us since her sight is really bad (well it got worse later on)
I'm pretty anxious about the 1xR pic too. Heero should've been in his OZ uniform more often instead of just that little bit of time. Some men, not all look good in uniforms, hence why the OZ uniforms in general make me swoon.

I'll let that typo slide by JUST this time though *shakes finger at you* ^_~ J/k, Trowa and Treize's #'s are so close, its easy to mix that up.
Thanx, glad you liked our wedding pics even though they weren't professionally taken. I was a bit pissed at how much his aunt and uncle fucked up the video. Mom said that if she would've known this was going to happen, she would've paid for a photographer and professional to record the ceremony.
Well we went with the Army uniform cause it was cheaper to do than a tux and thought it would look nice. Though I do agree, Marine dress uniforms are so sharp and sexy compared to the icky Army green.
I'm pretty excited to see the turnout of the 1xR too. Though I do feel Jurty's pain when it comes to trying to figure out poses and such, I know its not the easiest things to do, artist or not.
