Since ELjay will be down for a good bit tonight, might as well try and use this time WISELY and finish up these near completed fics. Plus with me having to work OT till later in the morning, I brought along the new Amityville Horror dvd that mom sent me with my package this week. Mmmmmmm.....hot, crazed, buffed Ryan Reynolds. My older sis told me that this new version is of course much better than the cheesy shit in the 70's but said it seems more scarier. Mom also sent me the new Charlie & The Chocolate Factory *yay!*


Got my work schedule for B&BW next week and though I don't have to work on Thanksgiving, I have to work 4hrs on fucking Black Friday, god damn it!!!!!!!!!!! Screw you retail jobs!!!

Speaking of Bath & Body, they got a sale for their B&B Pleasure collections (lotions, shower gels, etc) 5 for $25, this excludes the holiday scents which sucks cause the holiday scents they got this year smell so good.

I can't even put it into words on how I feel about this amvid bullshit now. The part that made me go "bwuah?" was when a fan contacted them and asked if the AMVs hosted on AnimeMusicVideos.org were created by the band. Umm....hello asswipe. If you can fucking READ what the site is about and not only that, read what the ppl who make the vids say in their profile, you would fucking KNOW that the bands had nothing to do with it. ARGH! I like to see who this fucktard is.

I can't imagine that people are using AMVs to tide them over in place of CDs, so I can't imagine they should have any argument over losing revenue. But perhaps they're afraid that someone may use a song as part of a video featuring something the band would not endorse-- some arse might use a Seether song for a video with tentacle rape, for example. I highly doubt that would happen (I don't know the AMV site's policy on such things, but I imagine controls are in place against that sort of thing), but since the bands can't approve or refuse every video individually, they're probably just using the copyright infringement to avoid the possibility. Not that I endorse this tack-- if anything I've been introduced to some new music and anime through a few good AMVs-- but I think this is probably their line of reason.
