Hmmm....where to start.

  • did some baking on Sunday. Damn if the choco chip cookies didn't turn out good. If it keeps up, I'm going to have to bake that 2nd batch pretty soon cause I won't have much to put in the X-mas packages for some peeps. The sugar cookies weren't too bad. It just annoys me when they don't spread out as much as the choco chips do. I got to thinking, why does it have to take so much sugar to make those kind of cookies? I mean I can understand say 2 cups but FOUR!? _-_ Hell, even the choco chip recipe doesn't call for that much sugar.

  • got one package sent but that was a major thing to do since it was being sent overseas.

  • got a good bit of burning stuff to disc this weekend that gets sent to ppl. Now to work on the dvds.

  • need to start the list of the X-mas cards.

  • we are looking for different ways to get rid of Smokey. He chewed his last cord and that sealed his fate. We are so tired of it, we've given him so many tries to quit but he doesn't stop, no matter how much bubba punishes him. I doubt that we'll put up any X-mas stuff in the house this yr but I don't want Smokey around if and when we do cause I'm tired of trying to find ways to keep the cords out of his reach. I tried taking him back to the place we adopted him from but they are no longer around. The lady at the newer PetSmart told me about the adoption stuff they have going on Saturday's and to get with the cat lady to see what we can do about Smokey. If that don't work, I told bubba to make a sign and post it in the yard for "Free house cat". Funny, I had Smokey in the pet carrier when I went to check places out yesterday and aside from him being so god damn noisy, when we finally got home and left him out of the carrier, he was my lost shadow. Kept following me everywhere I went. Bubba said he wished that by doing that, would make Smokey appreciate having a home but thats not likely to make him change. I'm sure Sam will be happy once we get rid of the pain.

  • changed my mood theme again. *waves bye bye to Trenty-poo* I had a hard time choosing what anime I wanted. I've been wanting to use the Bleach that I've seen but then I came across One Piece and I suckered myself into the One Piece theme. This series has TONS of awesome expressions to use for it. Might have to make some of my own to replace a few that I feel could use a better pic. Thank you [livejournal.com profile] scarbie for coming to my rescue when I needed it.

  • the weather is just so fucking crazy this yr, it drives me NUTS!!!!!! Sat it was in the 80's, then it cooled down a bit on Sunday. And now they are calling for the 50's today, ONLY IN THE 30's on Wed. (and thats during the day!!!) they said there might be a small thing of snow maybe some mixed sleet but I know we probably aren't going to see it or if we do, it won't amount to anything. The rest of the week from Thurs is 32, Fri. 45 and Sat 52. (highs during the day)

  • I feel ashamed for saying this, but I finally saw Reservoir Dogs in its entirety. I only saw bits and pieces a long time ago. Now that I seen it all, my reaction is O____________O, certain scenes made me veryvery squeamish *eww!* I should've recorded it.

  • I GOTTA pimp these icons. For those that don't know (and shame on you for that :P), the hunk of man-meat is Peter Steele, the lead singer for Type O Negative. Thanx to [livejournal.com profile] fiendling for creating the ones she did (from the Playgirl spread). You can check the icons here

  • If you want to check out the Playgirl spread that Peter did, I found a link that has the pics uploaded for your full wonderful penor viewing pleasure. Julie doesn't call him Mr. Man Meat for nothing!

WARNING!! Link contains FULLY NUDE, EYE GOUGING, MAN MEAT! Ain't no faking about THAT sum'bitch.

Penis, penis, penis If you don't want the penor, you can click on the Peter link for reg. pics of him. *licks it alllllllllllllllll*

    O___O Yowza! Man meat indeed!

I hope your job at B&BW is going ok! Hopefully we'll get together next semester!

    Glorious glorious man meat!

    Bleh on the seasonal job.

Hopefully we'll get together next semester!

Oh GOD! Ain't that the truth!! Everytime I wanted to try and get together, something always came up. And I'm still so behind on commenting on ppl's journals, I still have your's on my list to go back and comment on stuff. Anna will be coming down next month so maybe when we can meet up, I'll have her along.

I'll be back in town by Jan 11th or 12th and I won't have school for that whole week, so let me know if you want to get together then. I miss you.

I still have your sunglasses too. Tehehe...

    OMG! Like YAY!!!

Damn. The guy's proportioned like a freaking fertility statue.

Re: the kitty, have you tried any bitter apple spray stuff on the cords?

Also, check the site in my icon. It'll give you a list of a gazillion rescue groups in your area that you could call and ask if they could take him. Shelters too, but the vast majority of the cats in shelters are killed.
And there's always the cat lady. Every neighborhood has one; just gotta find her.

Damn. The guy's proportioned like a freaking fertility statue.

Amen to that! And he still looks good for his age, he'll be 44 next month. One of these days I'll finally meet him in person. I get so close to the chance every time we see them live but never stay long enough after the show. At least with his size (height wise), saves me the trouble of getting on my knees *lol*

I head about the sprays but never tried them. Hard to say if it would prevent him from chewing plus we got tons of cords that are exposed that we can't cover up. Hubby always talks about getting rid of the cat yet he hasn't made a move to do so. Its really his cat since he was the one that fell in love with him and twisted my arm on allowing us to get him while I knew it was going to be a bad idea.

Yeah, we have a cat lady and its the next door neighbor who feeds just about all the strays in the area which causes problems for everyone else around us (INCLUDING us) and the city (animal control).

    From: [identity profile] puchuupoet.livejournal.com

Sorry to hear about the kitty troubles. If you do put a sign up, ask for a fee (even if you don't collect it). There are people who will pick up free animals and use them for testing or as bait animals to train dogs to attack.

    From: [identity profile] yankeerose69.livejournal.com

Yeah, hubby talks about getting rid of the pain but he still hasn't done anything about it. Its basically his cat since he was the one that fell in love with him yet of course who gets stuck with feeding and cleaning the pooper? Surely isn't hubby dear.

Thanx for the heads up, I'm sure there are sickos out there that would be dumb enough to use animals like that to those who are giving them away.

    From: [identity profile] yankeerose69.livejournal.com

*laughs* Just the kind of reaction I was hoping from ppl who never saw him before.

Oh my goodness, I knew that Smokey was chewing cords in the past but I didn't know he was such a terror. It's a shame too because he looks so adorable.

Sam: *sighs* I never thought he would leave.

I'm glad that I was able to help you with your mood theme. Those pictures were so funny!

The weather up here has been consistent. *lol* Freezing. That's really messed up to go from hot weather then down to 30 something a few days later. Perfect way to get sick with the weather changing like that.

*looks at Peter Steele icons* Those are wonderful but then again she has gorgeous source material.

    *licks it alllllllllllllllll*
*ROFL!* Looking at those pictures all I can say is, "Damn!"

    From: [identity profile] yankeerose69.livejournal.com

He's such a weird cat. I wished I knew why he was constantly chewing on them for, plus you'd think after being punished so much, you'd stop. He is a cute cat but we think he might have had a bad upbringing from the previous owners. He won't really let you hold him without putting up a fight or constantly meowing during the process. Actually, he doesn't give me much trouble, only when bubba tries to hold him, then again, he probably knows that its bubba that punishes him. And then he's always instigating fights with Sam when Sam is minding his own business. I get tired of yelling at them (I'm telling ya, its worse than kids).

Sam: *sighs* I never thought he would leave.

After reading that, the first thing that came to mind was hearing Garfield's voice in my head.

I'm glad that I was able to help you with your mood theme. Those pictures were so funny!

If its not the antics that go on, then the expressions will keel you over.

This yr in regards to the weather and what it looks like outdoors is sickening. The ground everywhere is so dry and brown, and its not like your usual winter situations either. We've had a bad yr when it came to getting rain and it totally shows. Even now, they have grass fires out the ying yang cause of how dry it is.

Those are wonderful but then again she has gorgeous source material.

W/out a doubt!! I was hoping someone would create some drool worthy icons of that spread and actually have it looking NICE.

*ROFL!* Looking at those pictures all I can say is, "Damn!"

My reaction to those pics never change. No matter how long its been since I seen them.
