I couldn't agree more in regards to your conversation. That hits the mark spot on.

I am alarmed at how much I am wanting to do obscene things to Ikkaku's sinewy forearms.

I noticed that lately too on how he draws his arms.

And that slice of bare tummy on Renji.

Indeedly so! I was like "yay! a hint of tummy." Though I'm still curious about how he got his hair like that unless its an extension. *laughs*
