YOSH! and music question to flist

I know it may not be much of a big deal to some but its a big freakin DEAL to me on my accomplishment!!!!!!!!!! I FINALLY took the time last night and learned how to convert MP4 files back to AVI. It's actually quite simple (who knew?)

So what that means now is that I can take all the One Piece eps that K-F are releasing now as MP4's and put them back to AVI's like they were before. And I really don't understand why they did that for, there really isn't any difference. The audio and the video are the same quality. Those that are interested though in the avi files, speak up cause I'm not going to just make a post saying "here are the files to download." There's only one exception and thats towards a community and even then I'm going to have limitations.


As for the music:

Anyone on my flist like or want any of Peter Murphy's stuff? For those that might not know who he is, here is a sample song I uploaded (and if some of yous haven't heard of this before, come alittle closer so I can bop you over the head). The only exception are you youngins who weren't even born when his music came out.

Re: the MP4 vs. AVI business, I'm guessing but maybe because MP4s can be played on an iPod video while AVIs can't? (For that matter, AVIs are a Mac user's worst nightmare...)

Ahhh I see now, clears things up. Though reading through the forum where I got the directions to convert, there were some who were Mac users who they too were trying to convert the MP4's back to the orig. Don't know why they would want the avi's for unless they didn't have a problem on playing them.

Weeeeeell, as I said I was just guessing ^^;

FYI - AVIs can be a problem depending on how they're packaged. There's a way of making them so a clueless Mac user can view them without having to download a kazillion different other things first, but I very rarely see them. Not like you needed to know all that!

And OMG *another* Sponge Bob (that's what it is, right?) icon...! The face in the first one just kills me *lol*
