I found a very decent quality dl of the trans this evening and all I can say is OMFG!!!!! I mean, what an awesome way to start this chapter, Ikkaku being poked fun at of the clothing he has to wear that his new "girlfriend" picked out for him (aka. Keigo's sister). I also love the fact that she'd do anything to fight anyone who might be a threat to her....wait for it...."Honey Bunny." Even going as far as telling Ran:



Mizuho - I see what's going on here! You're trying to swoop in on my man! Time to throw down, bitch! His sexy skull and undeniable fashion sense makes him the target of all these skanks!

Ran to Ikkaku - She's the sister of the guy taking a nap on the floor, right? (earlier Keigo tried to go after Ran's boobs and even got smart and is prepared for her attacks till he gets a foot planted in his face)

Ikkaku - Believe it or not... this is actually a good day.

And its just funny when I think about Mizuho's crush on Ikkaku since cinnamongrr1 wrote a hot piece of smut with these two early on when Ikkaku needed a place to stay in the manga. You can read the yummy smuttiness here.

Aside from that though, this was truly an awesome chapter! For those on my flist who are to the point of giving up on the manga, I recommend to download this chapter. No Ichigo or Ichigo training for a change, thank god. Cause yes, even I've been having mixed feelings on trying to keep up with the manga for the pace that its been going. But at least from time to time, there has been a ray of hope around a few corners.

This chapter covers Urahara talking to Inoue while watching Renji and Chad train. The conversation Urahara has with Inoue is like a punch to the gut to the poor girl but if its the truth of the matter, what can you do? I love Chad in this chapter. But now the scary thing is...

Aizen has his sights on Inoue?!?!

Plus with some scenes in this chapter, you can't help but make up your own text. Warning though, there is a slight spoiler under the cut that I didn't want to take the text out only cause it suits for what silly shit I came up with.



I erased the text out of the bubble but didn't feel like filling it in. So many things you can say with that expression. A few came to mind:

I'm gonna write another chapter of porn for them, too! I vowed, the first time we saw Mizuho spaz over Ikkaku (and rightly, so) that I would write porn for each appearance she makes in the manga. And I shall!

Also, Aizen's interest in Inoue? Fits right into my plans for crazy mindfuckery porn between those two. [nods] Oh yes. This shall be a busy weekend for me.

FUCKING SWEET! I'm glad you made that vow. I'm also happy that Kubo decided to show more with these two as well. I think Ran misunderstood what she really meant to say. Instead of blackmail, she should've said Ikkaku was pussywhipped.

But Ikkaku and Mizuho make a cute hot couple.

The whole Aizen and Inoue thing totally took me by surprise, I'm really anxious to see what he might have up his sleeve. Though Urahara looks pretty pensive after she left so I wonder if he thinks she might be vulnerable now.

Also, Aizen's interest in Inoue? Fits right into my plans for crazy mindfuckery porn between those two.

XD I gotta say I loved the idea of Mizuho and Ikkaku since day one, not to mention Mizuho a nice breath of fresh air added to the mix. (Considering a friend of mine thinks that there are too many characters in Bleach... and as far as I know, he's only read the first 2 volumes. XD)

I'm so glad KT put in all the characters I wanted to see in this chapter. If he somehow managed to put off showing Ikkaku and Yumichika again, I would have been pissed off.

I couldn't agree more. If I had to put up with another chapter of Ichigo or the training again, I was going to start breaking things. There are OTHER characters to focus on as well. I hate it when magna-ka's pull that shit.

Well Ichigo is the main character, but then again the cast is so damn big that he could venture off in any direction he wants. (Because let's face it, how many fangirls people want a Shuuhei story? Srsly. X_x) Though right now it just seems like he just needs to get through some boring setting up crap before he can get into the meat of the arch.

Here's hoping Rukia makes an appearance soon...

I understand about Ichi being the main person but if your going to bring so many "important" ppl into the story, you should also give them time to shine. I used to like him when I first got into the series but there has been quite a few annoying fangirls that ruined the whole Ichi image for me.

At least our wish came true about Rukia showing up. I just got done reading the script for #228 and I'm glad she was able to have a nice talk with Orihime.
