Ya know, when I first saw previews of this movie, I just snubbed it off going "ugh, another FF movie?" and just the bits I saw, the cars didn't do nothing for me either. It wasn't until ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
guardianhunter saw it one day and couldn't stop talking about it to me and the hot guys in it (she's quite fond of the actors who played Donkey Kong *giggles* and Han). Then I read her entry about the run down of the movie and from there, she twisted my arm. We went to go see it last Sunday and I was surprisingly shocked that I reallyreally liked the movie, in fact, I feel that its better than the others (even though I only saw #1 and didn't have a reason to see #2).
While Anna is drooling over the Asian guys in it, I was quite fond of how hot Lucas Black had gotten. The boy totally grew into a man and talk about all country, that guy is truly country! That accent! It hasn't changed much since I last saw him in Sling Blade.
The one character I didn't care for and I'm sure they could've casted someone MUCH better and nicer on the eyes and that was the main chick. Blech! Ya know, its sad that the Japanese women they showed in the movie were so much prettier than this chick.
The cars looked better on the movie than what they showed in the previews but of course, the muscle car lover in me was slobbering all over Sean's Mustang and even his beat up car in the beginning. On the way home from the movie, you just don't know how bad I wanted to drift, especially when the opportunity was just right considering how the exit to get on the highway was such a tight curve. *laughs*
As for the music, good stuff! I was even kind enough to upload it for those that would like to hear it. If you take it, let me know please, I'd like to hear what you think as well or what song you like the most.

I was going back and forth on whether or not I should see this movie but I think I will. After I see Clerks 2 and Miami Vice! I'm going to download the soundtrack once I get home. Thanks for uploading it!

I'm not overly fond of the very thick southern accent but it all depends on how that person speaks and the way Lucas talks, I find it sexy, charming, and polite unlike the rednecks who think English isn't part of their vocab.

and then how somebody from the group who decided the title must be a very dorky person, because it´s a clear pun with Suzuki´s classic masterpiece Tokyo Drifter, and i didn´t know there were executives in hollywood with enough good taste to watch that movie.

My friend who's also an ANStaffer was Sakuichi-sensei's translator/guest liason for the wkend. It was great. She was able to introduce him to the band we had asked to come & perform for the con (D'espairsRay).
I cant possibly rant & rave about that band SOOO much! They're AWESOME!!!
