I found a dl to UVERworld's single "Shamrock" and had to laugh at the cover art. It's so Gorillaz, unless the artist is the same person that did the art for them. Either way, its still cute.

I have this huge urge to attempt an icon with that garfield strip, because I know exactly what he's talking about :)

You should!! I saved a good bit of Garfield strips if they were pretty funny regardless if it was the whole strip or just the way Garfield makes those faces and been dying to see some made into icons. One of the reasons why I wish I could push myself to fiddle around with one of my programs to make icons. I'd be afraid that I'd get addicted to it. *lol*

Cool beaners on the link. I look forward to when you finally get the others posted. I finally got "Nobody Knows" and its such a lovely dj. Then again just about anything that Angel Service makes, the art is stunning. Plus I love Rikichi anyways so bonus points to them for giving him time to shine in that book. I wish I knew what was being said especially when he sees Renji sitting outside the room from Rukia's cell and it looks like Renji was opening up to Rikichi in regards to Rukia. That other dj I got from them "Name of the Rose" is a bit of a downer since I didn't realize it was a GinxRenji dj till I bought it. The seller didn't have a description about who was in it till I found another auction with it and went "AAAAAAAAAAHH!!! What did I just buy??!!" *ick* Sadly, the art is still pretty so I guess I'll keep it for now.

I got a general dj from Honey Canon called "Ultra Vitality". Cute book.

There is another book that I've been debating about getting everytime I see it up for sale but I have to find the pic first to see if you have it and if you do, what you think of it (if its worth having).

In some ways, I'm wondering if its a good thing that there isn't too much being produced for RenRuki. I'd be so broke if it was as huge as IchiRuki. Some I see are worth having (that I might already own) but some others I've seen the art is nothing to sneeze at.

RIKICHI. That's the guy's name :) I was attempting to write a summary/review for Nobody Knows, but since I couldn't remember that guy's name, I got frustrated and gave up.

And which is Name of the Rose? It's not the one with the orange cover and Byakuya on it, is it? Or is it the one with a lot of characters on the cover? It's too bad that it's GinxRenji. I'll have to take that off my wishlist cause I'm strictly a het dj collector ;___;

I should have known that Angel Service would eventually do BL doujinshi books for Bleach since I've seen them do it for other anime series. *sighs* Oh well. I'll just have to make sure that I know the pairing before I buy. I've done that too, btw, and ended up losing money when I re-sold it.

And a new doujinshi? Oh, please, I'd like to see the cover. :3

As for my collection, I'm trying to be a bit more selective in regards to what I buy and the quality of the drawing. I don't just want to buy it because it's my favourite pairing. Since I can't read it just yet, the artwork is what I appreciate the most, at the moment.

I saw the one with the orange cover with Bya but haven't bought it yet. I saw like two inside scans but I'm curious how the rest of the book is. Eventually I'll get it.

I use to collect het and yaoi back in the early days when I would read yaoi fics too but was never a fan. After seeing how the majority of the fans got, I quickly switched to being all het. But the GW yaoi djs I still have, it's not for the pairings but the art. Plus by having them in the collection, they come in handy when you are strapped for cash and have them to sell. That was the only series I ever bought yaoi from.

What other series did Angel Service do? I wish their website was working cause I tried going to the link they had in their books but it was a no show.

As for Ultra Vitality, here is the cover:


It was released in '04. First half is Ichigo showing the healing hot spring to Renji to try out. Yoruichi shows up and must've said something about she getting in too and Renji spazzes out and dunks his head in the water. She ends up getting in the water in her cat form which surprised Renji once he popped back up. The other half is Gin, Kira, Hitsu, and Ran.

I FINALLY won it AND cheaper than last time, no over 2,000 yen like before. I saw another book was on auction after I won mine that was only going for 900 yen but ended for like 1,200 or so. I can't wait to get it in the mail to see how nice it is.

Eventually I would also like to get the Why can't we be friends book and the other I seen from that artist.

I don't just want to buy it because it's my favourite pairing.

Yeah, I've been selective too. There were a few I've seen on auction for RenRuki that the art just looks horrid. I was in the same frame of mind when it came to buying GW books too, only the best.

Heh. Yeah. There's a lot of strictly yaoi/shounen-ai artists out there that are extremely talented, but since I can barely collect a fraction of the het doujinshi that I want, if I ever start collecting bl doujinshi for the art, it'lll be after I get my other doujinshi first :)

The strapped for cash is definitely a good time to have a yaoi doujinshi--I've had a few when I won dj lots that sold almost right away.

As for Angel Service doing BL dj for other series, I know that they've done stuff for Naruto. KakaIru was the last one I saw. I'm pretty sure I saw them doing another series, but I've forgotten already >___> I've also tried their website, but if they've changed sites, I wish they could have left a link.

Ultra Vitality is an older Honey Canon dj, eh? I'd like to get my hands on one and those older Hitsugaya ones too.

And as for your newest RenRuki dj, I haven't gotten it yet, though I am keeping tabs on the one that I know is for sale ($17.99, I believe). You wouldn't happen to know the title in Romaji, would you?

*sighs* I haven't bought Bleach doujinshi in a while. If I bought one now, it would either be RenRuki or a HitsuMatsu. GinRan would be nice as well. I'm afraid I'm still a bit hung up on my KakaSaku doujinshi, at the moment. In fact, I've just put in a shipping request over at SMJ to ship two doujinshi that I've won. I just can't wait til my first paycheque - I'll finally be able to start my Christmas shopping AND I'll be able to afford more doujinshi.

You'll probably get your doujinshi before I even buy mine, so if you get a chance, could you tell me how it looks inside? The sample artwork that I saw was pretty good, but maybe they just scanned a good page :)

It always helps if you have certain yaoi djs that are very hard to find. I have two on my hands that will be part of the djs I'm selling that I know the fans would like to have.

I'm not into KakaIru but it would be interesting to see them done in Angel Service's style.

You don't happen to have Electrical Spirit do you? (from HC) I've been wanting to buy it but I'd like to know what all is inside.

Sure. We FINALLY acquired a printer/copier/scanner the other weekend since our other printer got messed up. I'm so happy just knowing I have a scanner again, it's been waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. Once I find out about my invoice balance, I'll send them a note about having them send my goods. (which only seems to take about a weeks time which really shocked me) I hope the book is good all the way through. Did you happen to read a slight summary about what the one story was about? (probably the scene in the scans they use to put up on auction)

Here's the Angel Service Naruto dj: Teacher's Bag

It's got some SasuSaku in it, so I might consider buying it if it ever comes up again. I just started work this past Monday and my first pay cheque's not coming until the 29th or so ;___;

I don't have Electrical Spirit, but I do know there's one up at Ebay, except there's scratches on it. There are quite a few HC djs I want to get a hold of--especially that RenRuki one you have, Runaway. And that Hitsugaya one, Unbalance. That one's older, and WAH, I lost the auction for when one came up. Maybe it's a good thing, I'd rather just find a buy it now or get it somewhere else.

And yay for your new scanner! Aren't they awesome? I'd never have been able to get my site up if not for my scanner *pats* As for your newest RenRuki, unfortunately, the seller doesn't know anything beyond that it's a doujinshi, the page count, and the series.

That's why I asked you if you happened to know the title in Romaji or even the circle. If I look hard enough, it's usually somewhere in the dj, if not on the cover or beginning/ending pages. The scan they had up was of a close shot of Renji's face and I believe another panel had a landscape drawn. Not much to go by, unfortunately.

The Naruto dj doesn't look too bad, just that Iruka doesn't look like his character.

For Electrical Spirit, as long as there is some sort of RenRuki in it, then I'll buy it.

Speaking of auctions, in some way, I find it sad that it's been lacking in good Bleach djs. Hell, even Y!J has been a bit low lately and I can never really find anything I want on ebay. But I guess my wallet is thanking me for the time being. Though there are 2 sellers on Y!J that are charging outrageous prices for starting bids for just about everything they put up in the Bleach section. Most I already have with the HC stuff but some of the other products is uncalled for. I've NEVER seen anything less than 2,000yen from them and all the stuff they have listed is NOT worth that price. Makes me wonder if anyone is dumb enough to buy anything from them.

Then there is another seller who has this one IchiRuki dj (don't know the artist or title) that they've been starting their's, and the highest I've seen last night was 2,300yen. I saw the same book by someone else selling it and they only wanted 700. There are times I can understand asking for so much if a book is thick and worth the price for alot of pages but this book wasn't even near 50 pages.

When I had my old scanner 6yrs ago and started collecting djs, I was a scanning freak. Scanned the whole Between the Sheets book and another smut 1xR book. Now a days I don't think I could treat my books that way unless there is a scene or two I really want to share. When hubby blew up the other scanner 2 yrs ago, I was so distraught. I had to resort using the damn digital camera for the past 2yrs and I don't like that cause the flash always ruins what I'm trying to take a pic of.

The reason I asked you if you know roughly what was in that book we were trying to figure out the title of, is that a few months ago when it was listed, they had a small summary of I guess what was in the sample scan. Rukia fell ill and wanted Renji to be there to keep her company. I love the scene where she must've said something to him and he looks away as if in denial but then you seem him clutching her hand while she's smiling all the while.

That Renji icon, there was an artist at Otakon who was selling those prints. I would've killed for that print but a friend who went to the con said that she'll contact the artist to order a print for me since she owed me a gift for doing something nice for her.
